Dec 14, 2024 · missy jonesGenuinely kind and caring team. I've been to vets that had the flashy remodeled foyers and top of the line table lifts in every room where it was beautiful and modern, but I felt like a number getting rush processed. The inside of Grayson Veterinary triggers some nostalgia for me of the vet my family used when I was a kid with the dog & cat wallpaper borders. But at the end of the day, the most important thing is that the team cares about the animals and they continuously show it. I don't book with a particular doctor because so far they've all been great, I'm happy to see whoever's available.
Jan 31, 2025 · Emma PageI'm genuinely shocked by GVH reply. What specifically did I decline among the several possibilities you claimed to have presented to me? Excuse me. Not even a callback was returned to me! Antibiotics failed, and that was it! I was not offered any tests, planes, zero, none thus I didn't decline any! Given that I need a health certificate in order to travel, why would I decline it? Unbelievable! And by the way Yes, I wanted to do it in private, which is why I called multiple times and hope that someone would give me a call back! Based on reviews on other websites, I know I'm not alone, particularly when it comes to diagnosing, showing compassion, and actually speaking to a pet owner instead of simply leaving the room after 1.5 min, as one reviewer stated. Rather of deleting reviews and producing replays that appear genuine yet not true, you should call the customer first, start there! Given how we started three years ago, I wish I could give this Vet a perfect review, but I can't. What I can say is that I opted to seek a second opinion since this veterinarian lacked one or more of the following: knowledge, experience, and compassion. Overall, it was a nightmare; I was intended to take my cat abroad, he needed to get yearly vaccination, but his body temperature would rise by one degree Fahrenheit above the normal. Naturally, the vet ordered blood/stool work, which came back negative, and the cat was/is in excellent health; still, antibiotics were prescribed, which I assume is acceptable because we want to save time and start the travel paperwork. Fast-forward a month later no result, Vet Rachel had no answer. Her lack of effort in addressing the matter troubled me the most. She did not ask additional questions or demonstrate a willingness to do so OR even to recommend second opinion, something ANYTHING! Instead, she'd send a technician with yet another antibiotic and send me to my alma mater UGA to do panel research!! Are you kidding me!!! Not even a telephone call. By the way, thanks Cynthia for not returning calls! So, if you require more in-depth thought, particularly diagnostics, this veterinarian lacks the knowledge! If the medications do not do it, she will not know or want to investigate more. Pray that antibiotics will work; else, avoid wasting your time and money. This place is good for grooming, regular short check-ups, and basic vaccinations. I should also mention that the "big mystery" of the cats' one-degree F body rise was resolved in a matter of hour at "second opinion" place.
Jan 23, 2025 · Senka ColoWe had to put our 16 year old mutt down today. They made this easier than I could have imagined or have wanted. They were kind, compassionate, caring and human. I was able to hold him the whole time in my lap. They got on the floor with me to take care of him. He was too big for me to sit in a chair with him. They gave him a couple snacks and even did footprints for me. Again if it is time and you don’t want to but you know you have too. I would use this vet. Thank y’all so much
Apr 20, 2024 · Deidra MullinsWe came there for emergency c-section on Labor Day for our Frenchie. They did a good job, I would highly recommend them to other pet owners. Thank you for doing a good job on my baby girl. We had 6 healthy puppies!
