A complete 10/10 experience. Zero wait for my appointment. Heather and the doctor were both very kind and informative. And a very inexpensive appointment. The staff was also able to keep my cat calm during his nail trim. Skillful, smart, kind, and helpful staff.

My words are not enough to convey how great Gratiot Animal Hospital is! My pups have been patients of both Dr Dwight and Ryan McNally and Dr Mielke for years. The entire staff, aides, techs and office staff are also incredible and welcoming. My pups have received nothing but outstanding care and treatments, with incredible accuracy. The care, compassion and understanding when treating unfortunate end of life emergencies and euthanasia is also second to none. I’ll always be grateful for the outstanding care and compassion provided to me and my pups in these difficult times in our lives. They also are incredible in understanding and treating special needs pups and they go out of their way in accommodating. I’m both blessed and relieved that they are and have always been there for me and my pups. Nothing but respect, appreciation and gratitude to all in this fine organization!

From the moment I stepped into Gratiot Animal Hospital, I knew my furry friend was in excellent hands. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff greeted us with genuine smiles, and the clinic itself was impeccably clean and organized. But the true highlight of our first-time visit was the meet-and-greet with the veterinarian was absolutely wonderful! They took the time to truly listen to my concerns about my pet, Nancy and asked thoughtful questions that showed a genuine interest in their well-being. I was so impressed by their gentle and patient approach, especially with my slightly nervous dog. It wasn't just a quick once-over; Dr. The veterinarian took the time to explain everything thoroughly, from routine care to potential health concerns. They made me feel completely comfortable and confident in their expertise. I left the appointment feeling like I had a true partner in my pet's health, not just a doctor. The entire experience at Gratiot Animal Hospital was exceptional. The staff's professionalism, the clean and welcoming environment, and most importantly, the compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian made our first visit a resounding success. Absolutely the best vet we’ve ever been to. The office staff and doctors are both incredibly attentive, caring, and super accommodating and easy to work with. We have a very high standard for our dogs and I can honestly say they are in the best care imaginable at gratiot animal hospital. We’ll never go anywhere else. 10/10… can’t recommend enough.

Our first experience with Gratiot Animal hospital was outstanding. The clinic is spotless, the team clearly animal lovers and gracious. When one of our Doodles had to have a growth removed we scheduled surgery, upfront about the costs, nothing hidden. Personal conversation from the vet, who is called by Dr - first name, no pretention. Even personal follow ups. They moved the surgery date forward a month when our dog started to limp and have pain. When we came in the morning of surgery, we were greeted with sympathy and compassion. The tech and surgeon both pet Dood and allowed him to lick their faces, demonstrating affection, and answered all my questions. Dood walked calmly out with the Surgeon. We went home, was called right after surgery to let us know that the dog was fine and how he was doing. Assured us that it appeared to be a fatty tumor that was in the muscle. I give these details (Sorry, I cannot remember all the names), Because it’s the little things that do matter. And the biggest thing is to have people who love, and you can trust, with your pets. Very impressed.
