Love GRVH! They all have been so kind to our fur babies. We had to send 2 of our senior dogs over the rainbow and everyone at the office was so patient and supportive during that time. We now have 2 new fur babies in our home and will continue going to GRVH!

I've been going to Grand River Veterinary Hospital for many years now. I can't say enough good things about them. All of the vets and staff are very caring and compassionate. Dr. Bobbie is amazing and always goes way above and beyond to give my pet the treatment he needs. I drive over an hour (one way) because the care I receive is so amazing. Absolute best vet around!

We have taken our GSD here for years and had been very happy with treatment, staff and everything else regarding the clinic. That ALL changed about a year and a half ago. We took her in for some coughing. We were advised to take some chest x-rays and run some other tests looking into possible heart issues (something she had never been diagnosed with) totaling just over $1000. We went ahead with what Dr. Mast suggested. After about a day they reached back out to my wife and told her she had severe heart failure, needed to get on some VERY expensive pills and she may not make it through the weekend. She even went as far as suggesting possible euthanasia!! Needless to say we were beside ourselves with sadness and disbelief. We didn’t feel like she was having heart failure so we deceived to get two other opinions, one that night and the other the next day. The first was a family friend who is a vet for the state of Michigan who said she showed no signs of heart failure and her heart literally sounded perfect. The next was the next day at our NEW vet who also confirmed she had no signs of heart failure and also had a suspicion that the x-rays we got of her weren’t even her!! They diagnosed her with an upper respiratory infection and prescribed her an antibiotic, which lo and behold, completely cleared up the cough. Imagine that! We contacted Grand River asking for a refund for the wasted tests and misdiagnosis but their rude office staff denied our request saying their diagnosis was sound. Well we are well over a year from then, our dogs heart is perfectly healthy and she actually has a cancerous mass in her back leg she has been on chemo for since February and doing awesome. We couldn’t be more displeased with the terrible “care” from Dr. Mast and their practice manger Tina. They essentially made us waste over $1000, almost had us put our healthy dog down and caused us some very traumatic emotional scars from this whole experience. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

I've been going to Grand River vet for the past 11 years and couldn't recommend them enough. All of the doctors are great, but I've worked closely with Dr Zech and Dr Case with all three of my cats. Dr Zech worked with me on my older cat, Dr Zech was kind, honest and extremely knowledgeable. When it came time to say goodbye, Dr Zech was the one to assist in the process and she was such a comfort to be with and explained to me what was happening each step of the way. Dr Case has taken such great care of my two younger cats. Both of them have chronic diseases and Dr Case showed so much empathy, expertise, and provided thorough education on what to expect and solutions to problems. She worked closely with me while one of my cats became sick and provided him excellent medical care and communicated with us each step of the way.All of the staff have treated me and my pets with dignity and respect and understood that they are our family. I cannot recommend them enough :)

They made a tough time for us as comfortable as possible. We had to euthanize our family dog and we chose GRVH to help us with it. The staff was very supportive and compassionate.
