Beyond these client-facing areas, such clinics are equipped with specialized zones for diagnostics, such as an in-house laboratory and imaging suites (X-ray, ultrasound), a surgical suite for procedures, and recovery or hospitalization areas for pets needing extended care. The clinic's website indicates that it is part of a family of businesses including Sevier County Animal Clinic, suggesting a shared commitment to quality and potentially standardized facility maintenance. The services offered by Governor John Sevier Animal Clinic are broad, reflecting its status as a comprehensive "Pet Hospital." Their core mission, as stated on their affiliated website, is to provide "the best in pet health care" for pets in Knox County. This would encompass a wide array of general veterinary services crucial for preventative care and the management of illnesses. Key services typically include routine wellness examinations, which are foundational for monitoring a pet's health, detecting early signs of disease, and providing tailored advice on nutrition, exercise, and behavior. Vaccination programs are essential for protecting pets from infectious diseases, and the clinic would offer a full suite of necessary immunizations. Diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions, including both acute illnesses and chronic diseases, are central to their practice. This involves utilizing diagnostic tools such as blood work, urinalysis, fecal exams, and potentially more advanced imaging like X-rays and ultrasounds. The clinic is also equipped to perform common surgical procedures, ranging from routine spays and neuters to more complex soft tissue surgeries. Dental care, crucial for a pet's overall health, would also be a standard offering. Furthermore, services like parasite control (fleas, ticks, heartworm), microchipping for identification, and nutritional counseling are generally part of a pet hospital's comprehensive care package. Some sources also indicate they can handle "simple surgery or a routine checkup," showcasing their versatility. Given their affiliation with Sevier County Animal Clinic, which offers large animal farm calls, there might be a capability or referral network for such services, although it is not explicitly stated for this particular Knoxville location. May 13, 2025 · Michael MoliassaI love my vet clinic. Anytime i call them they scedule me the same week! They work with my scedule, they don't push anything unnecessarily and they answer my questions in detail. I also think their prices are fair and reasonable. They get to know my cats and get excited when I come. Just overall best vet I've ever been to. If yall see this, Binx and Salem love yall!
Dec 23, 2024 · TRINITY POGUeThe doctors here a really nice and caring. They don't ever get mad if you call a million times when your pup is sick because you're a nervous wreck. I even had a very slight issue that was staff related that I had mentioned in my previous review and they addressed it in under a week. This is a wonderful caring clinic . I would recommend them for anyone looking for a doctor that actually cares for animals and does not just look at being a vet as a paycheck but genuinely loves animals. As far as the whole staff goes you can tell they are all true animal lovers!
Jul 24, 2018 · Rachel CopelandI have been coming to this clinic for years, and I have not had an issue up until recently, I am a breeder and I visit often with my dogs and puppies, Dr. Dinny has had to cancel my appointments 3-4 times do to either just leaving the clinic with no explanation or something else has came up, him of all people know how important it is to have your puppies/dogs vaccinated at the appropriate time I actually had to take them to another vet so I could have that done. Over this past weekend I had some puppies come down with a cold, I wanted them seen to make sure that's what it was, I called the clinic and they said that they didn't have a Doctor in !?? What a surprise!! How can you run a clinic and not have a doctor there?? If I was the owner I would make sure I was there working my clinic if I didn't have a doctors so my clients could be taken care of. After calling this clinic I called the other clinic Sevier county animal clinic and tried to get them seen yet again no luck because the vet there was double Booked for the day and had already had three emergencies walk in, so yet again we have a staffing issue. This is ridiculous! I have sent so many of my clients to these clinics because of my good experiences there, not anymore I will be taking my business elsewhere .
Apr 15, 2024 · Lindsay WalkerGot me in quickly and resolved an issue with my pet. Was very happy with entire staff. Doctor took plenty of time to describe treatment needed, provided a very accurate estimate, and seemed to have a genuine interest in my pets well-being. Recommended pet hospital.
