Goose Creek Veterinary Hospital

Staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We recently adopted a new pup and Goose Creek was our only choice. We love that they have the same friendly faces every time we go for an appointment And they remember our dogs names and quirks. Would recommend!

We're so happy that we came across Goose Creek Veterinary Hospital during one of the most difficult times we've experienced as a family. Our sweet girl, an elderly lab/pitbull mix was doing okay for the most part but unfortunately went severely downhill by the time Friday evening came around. To the point where we knew it was time. I ugly cried called many (highly recommended) vets to humanely euthanize her. Let me tell you what an eye opening experience that was. I knew mobile vets, it being the weekend and also calling vets that we were not customers of, would likely result in slightly higher estimates but I was totally unprepared for what I was hearing. Before you ask, yes we did have a vet that we were not happy with and I did not want to take her there for her last moments. Top that with it being the weekend, we were hit with $1,500+ quotes! I was just floored at the fees and at how many highly reputable vets and mobile clinics were ready to take full advantage of your family's pain. I was also unaware that if you're not a customer of the vet they have separate pricing (basically double what they would charge their customer for the same services). When I called Goose Creek Veterinary Hospital the receptionist was so genuinely kind. She gave me time to get through my sometimes uncontrollable crying without making me feel like she had a waiting room full of customers - which she probably did. That alone made me feel like we found our new vet for our other dog. Although we didn't go through Goose Creek for our girls last moments (a close friend and vet tech pulled through) we absolutely would have. First, because of the true kindness the receptionist showed me during my phone inquiry and Goose Creek did not hike prices on their services for us not being current customers. You can tell that they are truly there for the well being of your pets and your family. Since the passing of our girl. We have moved fully over to Goose Creek and have been extremely happy with our decision. Our appointments don't feel rushed or sales like and I can't tell you how priceless that is. We were even given personal references for dog behavioralists for our dog who was experiencing extreme grief and separation anxiety from our other dogs passing. Our doctor also said washing everything that might have her scent on it would help too - something I would have never thought of during that time. Truly appreciate businesses like Goose Creek! We need more businesses modeled after yours.

So very helpful to have the several options/paths outlined in an email ( how test results were communicated ) - I needed to ponder and think! And during the actual appointment with my cat, the ‘most likely’ scenarios were outlined, so I left also being able to process and ponder. Additionally, the examining vet Doc was different than the Doc outlining results and options, so there was SUCH great communication through their file documentation. Very grateful

Friendly front desk staff. Vet tech was nice and listened. Seemed sincere and caring. Vet was fantastic. Friendly, got on the floor to coax Sherman out of his crate. Thought she was nice and a great listener. Had reviewed Sherman’s old tests from GA and came up with a plan moving forward. Would definitely recommend to others. Loved the atmosphere.

Cross creek was so wonderful and caring for my cat Bindi. We live in the DC area and could not get an appointment to confirm her cancer diagnosis for months. We have family in the area and thought to try down here. Lauren and Dr. Poole were fantastic with getting us in for an appointment and with caring for Bindi. Dr. Poole kept me informed on how Bindi was doing and assured me that she was being well taken care of before, during, and after her procedure. I’d recommend this vet to anyone, we had a great experience here!
