Goodwin hospital is the best in town I put the one because guess what their #1 East Montgomery animal hospital other than Dr mashburn that's my doctor I love her and the doctor on veteran hospital on Vaughn road I don't like them Goodwin hospital is the best in Montgomery Alabama That's him laying down after vaghn Rd Butttt when Goodwin Dr D got him and the staff yes 😀 so happy and he is yo😀

I recently took my dog Zeus to Goodwin Animal Hospital, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The service was excellent from start to finish. The veterinarians were incredibly nice and genuinely caring, which made a world of difference for both me and Zeus. They took the time to address all my concerns and ensured that Zeus received the best care possible. I felt reassured knowing he was in such capable hands. They are the best animal care doctors I have ever used. They take a lot of time with your fur babies and you as well. I will drive to Montgomery rather than go here in Prattville where I live.

As an emergency they were very fast to get us in and very professional. I always have confidence they will take care of my animals.

Thorough, patient and friendly staff. My pet was a recently acquired cat that'd been abandoned by someone in my apartment complex. I took the cat into my home and soon scheduled an appointment with Goodwin, just to be sure they had no immediate medical issues. The first visit, the main vet was in emergency surgery, so a few tests were ran and I was scheduled for the next week. No problem, I had a sudden financial situation that week and was only able to pay part of the bill at that time but got paid the next week, so that actually was better. The next week, it was found that the cat had a microchip. The vet office was unable to get in contact with the listed owner, so I was told to take them to the shelter, where they were originally from, to see if anyone would come and claim them. As immense luck would have it, the shelter was able to reach the owner and they surrendered the cat, so I didn't have to give my baby up. Also found out that the cat I'd been referring to as a girl with the name of Honey was actually a boy! It's my first time really owning a cat after being raised as a dog family, I swear he looked more like a girl between the legs, lol. Granted, I didn't examine him very hard. I renamed him Somnus, being inspired by a beautiful song from Final Fantasy XV, and also it's Latin for "sleep", because that's all he does most of the time 😅. Crawls into my lap, like right now, nudges my face for snuggles, and sleeps 🥰. The next day was a Saturday, so I did a walk-in and presented the paperwork showing I was now the new owner. Three time's the charm and we finally finished up his vaccines. Didn't expect adopting an abandoned cat to turn into all of this, but I'm glad he's offically mine and was given a clean bill of health. Also in an interesting coincidence, the cat was neutered at this very clinic, so it all sort of comes full circle, lol. I'll certainly continue to keep Somnus' appointments with Goodwin!

Our dog has had all of her care at the Atlanta Highway location, and boards regularly at the pet resort at Chantilly. We are very pleased with the care she has received. She has seen Dr. Glasscock and Dr. Sternenberg at the Atlanta Highway location and they are both caring and wonderful. The regular veterinarians are great, but occasionally they have a different vet fill in when people are out and we didn't like them quite as much. But when we've had an emergency (on a Sunday) there was someone available to meet us at Chantilly and take care of our dog. We appreciate that.
