So grateful for this office! My dog ate something and caused a potential blockage. I’ve never had a vet spend as much time explaining what was going on with my dog before. The vet and staff here really took their time to explain everything to me and help me decide which route to move forward with. He also took the time to explain her allergies more to me and how to treat them. I’ve never left a vet feeling like I’ve had all my questions answered till today. Actually looking forward to my next visit. Can’t recommend them enough!

Spoke with the staff about my dog with cherry eye. I know about the issue and that it needs to be treated with surgery to correct it properly. I inquired about the surgery and was told he would need an exam first. So I scheduled the exam and stated the reason for the visit was his eye issue. I’m a Paramedic and work 24 hour shifts so I sent in my gf as I figured it was clear that I wanted the surgery for my dog. The vet examining him does not even do the surgery, therefore didn’t know about it and couldn’t give information. However he was comfortable enough to sell my gf a medication with a 30 percent success rate and that will mostly have reoccurrence on the slim chance that it does work. We were told that there’s another Dr there, the “Permanent” one, who does the surgery. Common sense would dictate that we would be set up for the exam with that Dr and not buckled and dined for treatments that won’t work. When I told them via message that I do not want the treatment as it likely will not work or be the permanent solution I was told that they don’t offer refunds on medication. We were very clear on why we were going in with our dog, even as far as talking to their staff via their messaging app. We should have been paired with a Dr that can actually treat the issue. Instead of a Dr that cannot. Avoid this place. They will buckle and dime you to get more money out of you.

So happy with the care and attention given to my dog. Calm and transparent communication regarding my pet's health. I did not feel rushed nor did I wait long for the veterinarian to come and see us. Great team!

GoodVets Wicker Park gave me a fantastic first visit. I will be bringing my second cat for his annual when it is time- very happy to have them in the neighborhood. We found out my newly adopted kitty was having kittens!. I had lots of questions and always felt I was given a caring and educated answer- I never felt like a nuisance
