No more visit for me. I’ve always had great experiences with Dr. Post, and the last visit was no exception. I appreciate the extra care and attention she provides. Though sometimes she made me feel like I asked stupid questions. (I mean duh that’s why I go to a vet). Unfortunately, I have to take 4 stars off because of my experience with the vet assistant. While she was friendly at the start, her attitude changed once I started asking questions. She seemed unhappy, rushed through explanations, and hurried off without looking back. When she gave me my cat’s medications, she spoke very quickly and rushed through the instructions. I tried to ask for clarification, but she answered just as quickly and left before I could ask more questions. It felt dismissive and unprofessional, especially compared to my previous visit, where another vet assistant made sure to ask, “Are there any more questions?” before leaving. I understand I might have booked the wrong type of visit (i made mistakes- and I apologize), but that doesn’t justify being rude. My cat deserves BETTER CARE, and I’m genuinely sad because I love Dr. Post, but this experience makes me hesitant to return.

Dec 17, 2024 · PinkGreat experience! Destinee was wonderful with my cats. She was super gentle and clipped their nails very quickly! The whole team was wonderful and I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for taking such good care of my kitties especially my super shy one!
Dec 11, 2024 · Folasade RuncieThe staff and doctors at GoodVets are really amazing. S/o Dr. Allen! They go above and beyond, even when circumstances don’t call for it. They shared with me that when I had to drop off our dog for a few hours, he joined their staff meeting and got pets the whole time. Like what? How incredible! Also, the wellness plan they offer is amazing and something I’ve found so helpful and unique to GoodVets. Highly recommend this Streeterville location. Have enjoyed every doctor and staff member we have interacted with.
Aug 03, 2024 · Jennifer HoffI had an unsettling experience with my puppy's veterinarian recently. My puppy was due for his last DHPP booster shot on November 11th with his 3rd round done on October 11, but apparently bringing him on November 11 was considered three days late. When I arrived at the clinic, I was told that because I was even a few days late, they would have to restart the last booster vaccination and administer ANOTHER round. This felt unnecessary and overly strict, especially since we were only talking about a three-day delay. I understand the importance of vaccinations, but it seemed excessive to me. I was made to feel like I had done something irresponsible, when in reality, the delay was very minor. On another note, the treats they fed my puppy had him PUKING an hour after. What really frustrated me was the lack of flexibility or willingness to discuss alternative options. Instead of acknowledging the reasonable circumstances behind the delay, the clinic’s stance felt more like a rigid policy rather than a tailored approach to the situation. In the end, I was forced to pay for and go through a process I thought could have been avoided, which was frustrating both emotionally and financially. While I understand the importance of keeping on top of vaccination schedules, this experience left me feeling as though the vet's office was more focused on profit than providing compassionate care or understanding. I really hope other pet owners don’t face the same strict interpretation of the rules, as it was an unnecessary inconvenience for both me and my puppy.
Nov 13, 2024 · MichelleEveryone was so nice and accommodating! The physical exam the Dr. gave was so through and the doctor and all the techs and receptionist were exceptionally kind and lovely. I have a large but friendly german Shepard and sometimes vets are scared of them but our dog was received so well. I had a lot of questions about treatment and best practices all of which were answered calming and thoroughly without being rushed. I am really excited to have found my new vet in the area!
