GoodVets Andersonville

A really great experience!!! We received much better care than the three other vet's offices that we've been to in the past. They were communicative, kind, and didn't make us feel guilty for not accepting their entire quote - like other places do. Highly recommend!!!

GoodVets Andersonville has been absolutely fantastic in caring for my new puppy, Chubs, a miniature American shepherd. From the moment we stepped into the clinic, the entire staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. They took the time to make sure Chubs was comfortable, and they were so patient in answering all of my questions as a first-time puppy owner. The vets here are knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely care about their patients. They gave me excellent advice on how to keep Chubs healthy and happy, and the attention to detail during the check-up was truly impressive. I feel confident knowing that Chubs is in great hands at GoodVets. If you’re looking for a vet in Andersonville, I highly recommend GoodVets. We faced significant communication issues during our visits. Each time we came in for simple lab work for our cat, unexpected charges appeared on the invoice. While one tech eventually acknowledged my concerns about these added expenses, it was frustrating to navigate lengthy explanations. Additionally, one front desk employee made interactions more challenging, and during one visit, we waited over an hour for a routine procedure without any acknowledgment of the delay. The vet techs are clearly trying their best, but the overall experience felt lacking. I recommend seeking a local vet instead, as this corporate environment seems to prioritize financial gain over patient care. I'm giving 2 stars for the techs' efforts, but I was disappointed overall. **Update in response to Sam's reply. Yes, I received your email on New Years Eve while traveling and planned to respond to it. I just did. I NEVER received a phone call. I just checked missed calls and voicemails to verify, I have no record of anyone from GoodVets trying to contact via phone after we sent an email relieving GV of their services.

Took my pup in for the first time today. They took great care of her and were clear in their recommendations. I was having a pretty crappy day and wasn't the easiest client. They were patient, accommodating, and kind of went out of their way to take care of us. Derek, especially, helped me out and made sure my doggy got the care she needed.

Dr. Flanagan and the team are the absolute best! I moved away from Chicago but fly back just to have them take care of my dog. Complete peace of mind knowing they’ll treat your pet with so much love and care.
