This location doesnt even deserve 1 star. The Jenks location is awful and has false advertising. We arrived at 5:20 and the girl at the counter said the veterinarian might have already left. The girl went to back and said the vet has left. Then why are you open till 6pm Don't advertise you are open till 6pm. We have came by this location twice now and both time this has happened. We can't control the road construction and traffic. I will spreading the word to everyone and anyone that I know. If someone came in 40 minutes before you close then you should be willing to help them.

Welcome to Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital - Jenks

As a local user in Jenks, Oklahoma, if you're searching for a dedicated and compassionate "Pet Hospital" for your beloved animal companions, **Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital - Jenks** presents itself as a notable option. Located at **12141 S Elm St Suite 115, Jenks, OK 74037, USA**, this facility aims to provide comprehensive veterinary care. You can reach them by phone at **(918) 393-4784** or via mobile at **+1 918-393-4784** for inquiries or to schedule appointments.

The "Pet Hospital" category on local platforms signifies a place where pets receive medical attention, preventative care, and often, a range of related products and services. Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital - Jenks aligns with this, offering what appears to be a variety of essential veterinary services to address the health and well-being of dogs, cats, and other companion animals.

When considering a veterinary care provider, the **environment** of the facility is often a key factor for pet owners. While specific details about the interior design or waiting areas aren't explicitly provided, customer reviews offer some insight. One reviewer particularly appreciates this Jenks location, describing it as "smaller and more personable" compared to their Broken Arrow location. This suggests an atmosphere that might foster a more intimate and less overwhelming experience for both pets and their owners, which can be beneficial, especially for anxious animals. A smaller, more focused environment often allows for more individualized attention from staff, contributing to a calmer visit for pets who may already be stressed by a trip to the vet.

Regarding the **services** offered, a "Pet Hospital" like Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital - Jenks typically provides a broad spectrum of medical care. This would encompass routine check-ups, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and nutritional counseling, all crucial components of preventative medicine designed to keep pets healthy and detect issues early. Beyond preventative care, it's expected that they offer diagnostic services such as blood work, urinalysis, digital radiography, and potentially ultrasound, to accurately diagnose various conditions. Common treatments for illnesses and injuries, including minor surgeries, wound care, and medication dispensing, are also standard for a facility in this category. While specific service lists aren't detailed in the provided information, the nature of a "Pet Hospital" implies a commitment to comprehensive medical support for pets through all stages of their lives.

The **features** of a veterinary practice often extend beyond the basic medical services. The positive customer review highlights specific staff members, Dr. Murray and Stacey, as "absolutely wonderful." This suggests a team that is not only knowledgeable but also approachable and effective in communicating with pet owners. The reviewer's comment, "They answered every question I had without hesitation and were great with all three of my dogs and my roommate’s dog," points to a staff that is patient, thorough, and capable of handling multiple animals with different needs. The preference for this "new location" over the Broken Arrow one also speaks to a potentially improved or more tailored experience at the Jenks facility. This emphasis on personable service and effective communication is a significant feature that can greatly enhance a pet owner's experience and build trust.

From a **promotional information** standpoint, the very existence of their listing and contact details serves as a primary form of promotion, making them discoverable to local pet owners. For a "Pet Hospital," word-of-mouth recommendations are invaluable, and the positive review from a satisfied customer detailing their positive interactions with Dr. Murray and Stacey acts as powerful organic promotion. This type of endorsement is often more impactful than traditional advertising, as it comes directly from a real-world experience. However, there's also a crucial piece of feedback that needs to be considered in any promotional strategy: the negative review regarding their closing hours and availability. This highlights a critical area for improvement in their operational consistency and how they communicate their hours to the public. For any "Pet Hospital" advertising specific hours, it's paramount that they adhere to them to avoid customer dissatisfaction and negative publicity. Clear communication about veterinarian availability, especially towards closing time, is essential for managing client expectations. If a practice advertises being open until 6 PM, clients expect to receive services or at least be admitted for urgent care up until that time. Any deviation from this, such as the vet leaving early, needs to be clearly communicated proactively to prevent frustration and a perception of "false advertising."

In conclusion, Good Shepherd Veterinary Hospital - Jenks, as a "Pet Hospital," appears to offer a personable environment and dedicated staff, particularly Dr. Murray and Stacey, who are highly praised for their patient care and client communication. While they strive to provide essential veterinary services, addressing operational inconsistencies, especially regarding advertised hours and veterinarian availability, would significantly enhance their reputation and customer satisfaction. For local users, it's important to consider both the positive feedback regarding their compassionate care and the concerns raised about appointment availability near closing time when making a decision about their pet's veterinary needs. Prospective clients might consider calling ahead, especially later in the day, to confirm veterinarian availability.

Dr. Murray & Stacey are absolutely wonderful. They answered every question I had without hesitation and were great with all three of my dogs and my roommate’s dog. I also love this new location. It’s smaller and more personable than the BA location, which is great as well, but I definitely prefer this one! Will absolutely be using them for all of our dogs’ needs.

Took my Lab here and he is terrified of the vet from the last place we had been to. He tried hiding behind me and the vet was sooo incredibly friendly and patient. She took the time to win him over. It was so sweet. We will definitely be back!

We are extremely grateful to Dr. Murray for working with us and for his compassionate care during a difficult time. He made sure we understood all our options, did everything possible for our Taz and made sure he was comfortable until the very end. It was very heartfelt being around such kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend him and his staff for their support. Thank you all!

Fully recommend, this will be my dogs main vet moving forward. Front desk, techs, and doctor were all so friendly and personally to me. They actively listened to my dogs issues, had a great checkup, doctor follow up was informative, discussed treatment, and affordable billing to me. Will return, I recommend for multiple reasons.
