Took my cat, Sweets, to this practice after emergency visit to Points East. Office staff and Vet asst were great here. Dr. Renee made recommendations for diet changes due to vomiting and diarrhea in older cat. Love that there are 2 vets there and was able to get in quickly. This can be difficult at times in a practice with just one vet. Will gladly continue Sweets care at Goldsboro Veterinary Hospital.

Mar 24, 2025 · Kaylea SchlomerAs far as the Goldsboro Veterinary Hospital's professionalism in regards to pet care, I can't give an opinion. However, I have some experience with their business practices. I scheduled an appointment for my dog and had to give a $25 deposit. No problem, but I had to cancel which I did in less than 30 minutes later and was denied a refund. It states you have to give at least 48 hours notice. I had the appointment for less than 30 minutes and no refund for the $25 payment. I feel they are more focused on money than pet care. I was given this appointment on Thursday and the visit was for that following Tuesday. I cancelled within 30 minutes of getting this appointment for the following Tuesday. I canceled because I needed my dog to be seen faster than that because she had a bad ear infection that was the reason for my cancellation. I found another veterinarian who did schedule me faster.
Apr 29, 2025 · Steven WallaceSwitched to Goldsboro veterinary hospital because I wasn't happy with Landmark. 1000x better! They are very attentive to my needs as I'm a disabled veteran and my service dog, Otto, needed a minor surgical procedure. It was like going to a hospital for humans! The care was the best I've ever experienced. They are a little pricey but you get what you pay for. If you want your pet treated like a member of the family and not like a yard dog like some vets who could care less, I highly recommend Goldsboro veterinary hospital. Dr. Renee Fahrenholz and her entire team are truly angels and made me feel extremely comfortable and safe.
