Suddenly no Saturday appointments after 5 years of bringing my dogs here. So, I was told they couldn't help me anymore, unfortunate.

Thank you so much Dr Churchill for your incredible bedside manner and care that you showed my family and my beloved dog. Words cannot express how beyond grateful I am for your help and empathy during our time of need.

hi neighbors, I just received a biopsy result that confirmed that my little best friend has cancer (skin cancer, from being in the sun). Im writing this for two reasons: 1. I’ve previously endorsed Gardiner Animal Hospital, whose doctors have dismissed my concerns of my cats lesions (ear scab) for years until casually mentioning during our last visit it “may” be cancer. A type of cancer they’re familiar with and have treated before and is most common in white cats. After doing my own research i realized it is absolutely what my cat has and i’m wondering why it took 2 years to mention the possibility to me, especially if they have the knowledge experience of this rare cancer. The doctors were kind to my face, but have refused to call me back. I believe they know their mistake and are embarrassed. no accountability is an awful trait for a doctor. Not only do i not endorse them, i would absolutely avoid them. 2. I’m embarrassed to admit that I didn’t know there are such things as animal specialists like cat dermatologist, and internal medicine vets whose practice is more advanced than the general practitioners (most vets). If you suspect there’s something wrong with your best friend , go to a specialist. You know your pet better than anyone else, and sadly that includes doctors. I knew the scab that never healed was strange but i NEVER thought it could be cancer. Since it’s been years it has spread across his little perfect face. We’ve had to cut part of his ear off, and now with the positive biopsy we’re going to see a pet oncologist. All of this could have been avoided if a doctor recognized it the first time I brought him in and removed that little area. I’m sad, angry and frustrated. 😭❤️

Sadly, my family and I recently had to put our 16 year old dog to rest. It was a heart wrenching decision but thought it best to let her go with some dignity and not to suffer. We got there a little early so we could each spend some time alone with her and then let her sniff around outside for a bit. When Dr. Churchill came outside to greet us, she asked if we would like to do it outside on a blanket under a nice shady tree so we could all be around her, we said absolutely. It was much less stressful for her to be outside where she loved to be and not in a room where, let’s face it, no pet is comfortable. She took the time to explain everything to us and was so kind and gentle. Everyone was. We even got a sympathy card that was signed by the staff along with a beautiful (but very sad) poem. The box her ashes came in is very pretty, along with a clay paw print. So thank you to everyone at Gardiner vet!! I would definitely recommend them!!
