We have boarded with them in the past, that was a great experience, although I wish my cats could've been in the same enclosure, I understand why they couldn't. This visit was for annual vaccinations and a sick visit for my oldest cat. They had time to see them today when I called this morning and I'm very grateful they were able to see us so quickly. They have a clean facility and a wonderful staff. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. This is the best vet I've ever been to!

Our mission is to offer a wide range of services in a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment, supported by a team of friendly and knowledgeable professionals.

At Galloway Village Veterinary, we cater to a diverse range of animal companions. While we provide essential services for your beloved cats and dogs, our expertise extends to the care of exotic pets, including reptiles like ball pythons. This specialized knowledge sets us apart and makes us a trusted choice for owners of non-traditional pets in the Springfield area. Our team is equipped and trained to handle the unique needs of these animals, ensuring they receive the same high standard of care as our feline and canine patients.

Our facility is designed with your pet's comfort and safety in mind. We pride ourselves on maintaining a clean and organized environment, which contributes to a stress-free experience for both you and your animal. From the moment you step through our doors, you'll be greeted by our friendly and attentive staff who are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service. We understand that visiting the vet can sometimes be an anxious experience for pets (and their owners!), and we strive to create a calm and reassuring atmosphere.

Galloway Village Veterinary offers a comprehensive suite of services to address all aspects of your pet's health. Our core services include routine annual vaccinations to protect your pets from common and potentially serious diseases. We also provide thorough sick visits, ensuring that your animal receives prompt and effective care when they are feeling unwell. Our ability to accommodate same-day appointments, as highlighted by one of our valued customers, demonstrates our commitment to addressing your pet's needs in a timely manner.

For our feline friends, we understand the importance of their comfort during their stay. While we may need to house cats in separate enclosures for their safety and well-being, we ensure that their boarding experience is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Our past boarding services have been well-received, indicating our dedication to providing a pleasant environment for your pets even when they are away from home.

One of the key features of Galloway Village Veterinary is our dedicated and experienced team. Our veterinarians, like Dr. Zacharias, are known for their thoroughness and their commitment to educating pet owners. As one satisfied customer shared, Dr. Zacharias provided a detailed inspection of their ball python, explained everything clearly, and even offered her contact information for any follow-up questions or concerns. This level of personalized attention and commitment to open communication is a hallmark of our practice.

Our veterinary assistants are also an integral part of our team. Tawny, as mentioned in a review, exemplifies the level of detail and care we provide. Taking thorough notes on a pet's environment, feeding habits, and history allows our veterinarians to gain a comprehensive understanding of the animal's overall health and potential needs. This detailed approach ensures that we can provide the most accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

We understand that choosing a veterinarian is a significant decision. The positive feedback from our clients speaks volumes about the quality of care and service you can expect at Galloway Village Veterinary. Being described as "the best vet I've ever been to!" and having clients who are "VERY impressed" with our care, especially for exotic pets, underscores our commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine.

I took my ball python here and was VERY impressed! This is the second vet clinic I've tried for my snake, and I am much happier with Galloway. We were let into a room immediately, the facility was clean, and the vet assistant, Tawny, took notes about his environment, feeding, and history. (The first clinic we tried was not so detailed) Dr. Zacharias was very thorough in her inspection - I even got to hear his heart beat! Dr. Zacharias was very informative in answering all my questions. At the end of the appointment, she gave me her card and invited me to email her with photos or questions if any other concerns arose. I'm so glad we found a great vet for Goliath!

This review is directed at the grooming department. We picked up our schnauzers from grooming and the groomer, Rebecca, informed by husband that Charlie, the 2-year old “pulled out of harness and hurt my hand.” What she failed to mention is that she severely cut his neck area with the (i assume) clippers. Did she do this out of retaliation for a skiddish puppy? When I contacted the office to discuss my findings, they asked if cut was there when we dropped him off….??? Ummm… NO! They gave some ointment and a weak apology but I can assure you we won’t go back. Both dogs have gotten ear infections after grooming in the past but this draws the line. Make your own conclusions from the picture.

.I had a disheartening experience with this clinic and wanted to share my concerns. My 6-year-old French Bulldog had a cancerous spot removed successfully, but when another appeared, the vet ran a biopsy that was supposed to determine if it was high-grade cancer like the last one. However, she didn’t collect enough tissue to make that determination, yet I was still charged in full. We moved forward with surgery, but the day before, the estimate unexpectedly increased from $900-$1,500 to $1,200-$2,100 due to an “oversight.” I ultimately found another vet because I felt their focus was more on profit than my pet’s well-being. Proceed with caution.

I just picked up my two little girls (schnauzers) from their grooming appointment with Rebecca. She does an amazing job every time they go in, which is every 4-5 weeks for several years now. I am very picky about their grooming and she doesn't complain or disappoint. She is caring and knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for a better groomer.
