I love this vet's office. They always talk through options with us, they keep us informed when our pets have to go under for any kind of procedure, and they are prompt when we request med refills. All four of my pets go here and will continue to for as long as I am in GNV. The staff is friendly and they remember our pets (or at least they pretend to for my sake, which is fine by me!). Every vet i've spoken to at this location has always been kind and warm and thorough. I appreciate this whole team.

Dr. Samech was absolutely amazing. He told me exactly what he was going to do, debriefed me after each procedure, and did excellent work on my dog, Domino, who had several dental surgeries last year and removed 3 growths today. If I could give him 10 💫 I would. #BestVetEver

They lure you in with “free” vaccines for life which is a great deal for a young college student but what they don’t tell you is all the fees and cost of things so this slow animal hospital can make a quick buck. When I called I specifically asked for the cost of the exam and what was included in it and was assured that the $75 would cover it. I brought my pet in for an issue with an eye. They said it was included. It wasn’t… I paid for the doctors time, a whole 10 minutes (which is not the problem). But included in that price should have also covered a physical exam which was not done. Skin, ears, mouth, eyes, heart and lungs. Eyes are a given because that’s why I’m here for but a stethoscope was used briefly. The doctor claimed to her hospital manager that a skin and ears check was done when it was not. Manager even admitted that the doctor didn’t get to the mouth so wouldn’t that make what I’m saying a bit more credible? So no, I did not get the full price worth of a diagnostic exam. I don’t know what it is about any doctor (human or animal) that they hire these aggressive people to make paying people(customers) feel like they were stupid to question things. Sure believe your doctor before someone else but to not even offer to have the doctor come back in and do a once over of the things I said she missed? Paying the money wasn’t the issue, the fact that you are price gouging people for half service is. Absolutely beware when bringing your pet here. The receptionist is always incredibly friendly and truly bless her heart. But you’re stealing money from people and that’s not okay. The doctor is nice and all but the fact that they remove you pet from the room and do the whole exam in a back room to “make it easier on the staff” is crazy. I really do hope that this is received as an opportunity to improve and not me just bashing them. The vet tech and the doctor were incredibly nice but that fact that the manager wasn’t even willing to fully listen to what I had to say was super unprofessional. I’m sure that this person refers to their pets as their “babies” (I know I do) but imagine if this was a human child and you noticed the doctor didn’t fully look your child over…? May be why they take your pets to the back so they can get away with it in peace. There was so much more that could have been done or offered but the only person who was trying their hardest to help me was the receptionist.

I’ve been taking my cat here for the last year and I love it! The staff are very friendly and caring with their patients and explain things in an understandable way. They’re easy to schedule with (you can book from your phone!) and have affordable prices, often running sales on things such as prevention.

I have used this group of veterinarians for over 10 years on a recommendation from a friend that has over 10 competing sport dogs. Archer/GAH East and just recently GAH West. I have found all of them to be very professional and courteous. Their Vaccines for life program is GREAT!! it really helps to be sure the pets are seen regularly as needed. I have never felt pressured to have any kind of procedure performed. They have always printed an itemized pricing of any procedures, blood work, and meds, so I can make the best decision for my pets. I will continue to use this group until we move too far from Gainesville.
