Frontier Veterinary Urgent Care

I love this place! The staff, the environment, and I gladly drive the 30 minutes (unless it's a life-threatening emergency, then I'd go closer to home) I have a large breed dog, a French Mastiff, and I love how the staff always seem very comfortable and confident with him. Not everyone is, so it's a relief when they are. We had a rough patch where my dog was in 3 times in 10 days. While there were times I had to wait, both the lobby area and rooms were welcoming. The lobby has coffee and water, and the rooms have a TV, which is nice if you have a longer wait. On one occasion, he vomited in the lobby, and the desk staff came right over to not only clean up the mess but also brought wipes over for his face. The doctors have been knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, caring, and cost conscious. They've offered several options for treatment and helped me to make informed decisions. Finally, they've called me a day or two later to check in and see how he is doing. They've been readily available when I've called in with questions and provided answers quickly. My dog is also very comfortable coming here. I highly recommend Frontier Urgent Care. Top notch facility!!

Friendly, compassionate staff. My dog has never been so relaxed being at an animal hospital. This location is very convenient and they were available to see me right away. Much better than waiting 7-10 in line waiting in a car at other places. Charge is flat rate for visit and initial evaluation. Feel the price is fair for the level of service and availability they provide. Our primary vet recommended this place and I was so happy I went here. Definitely earned my repeat business if needed again in the future. Keep up the good work! The few negative reviewers are clearly outliers to the normal consensus of this business.

I brought my dog Mandy to Frontier after she nearly amputated a third of her large pad stepping on something sharp. The staff was fantastic. There was no wait. The care and compassion was incredible. The Vet explained all that needed to be done for Mandy. She did explain that there was no guarantee the pad could be saved, and may not take, but they would do their best to save it. We had multiple visits, for rechecks, cleaning etc. Every visit was like the first. I knew Mandy was in the right place, in the right hands. I am eternally grateful to Frontier, and the staff. They saved Mandys pad. She is completely healed. Thank you all for the top notch care you provided to Mandy.

Although the ending was tragic and we had to put our beloved boy to rest, Dr. Sierra and her team were great. They were compassionate and professional the entire time. We brought him in after he stopped eating and had sudden trouble walking. Fearing the worst, I explained that I had no expectation that he would live forever (he just turned 8), but if he couldn’t be comfortable and live a dignified life, then I knew what had to be done. Rather than going through endless rounds of expensive testing, Dr. Sierra started with a blood test. Based on the results of those tests, she was honest about the options and his prognosis. She didn’t bs us or give us false hope as a ways to make a few extra dollars. Together we decided that any further tests would just be delaying the inevitable and likely only result in an “answer” that wouldn’t have a viable treatment anyway. Instead of putting him through any unnecessary suffering, he was put to rest with dignity and compassion. Although our hearts are broken, I’m truly grateful we chose Frontier Veterinary.

I cannot say enough about this place. They were not out to "rob" us on different tests. The vet was outstanding and explained that not all recommended tests aren't always needed and doesn't change the treatment plan. Love this place.
