Dr. Marianne Marshall-Gibson at Front Range Performance and Rehabilitation recently scoped my horse for ulcers. Her performance of this dicey procedure was professional and thorough. Even more importantly, her kind, empathetic approach and knowledgeable advice were just what i needed to make decisions about caring for my horse going forward. And Whitney, her assistant, was great too!

Jan 02, 2025 · Nancy EhrenreichDr. Marianne Marshall-Gibson and her team are awesome! As a physician, I am quite discerning about the medical care of my pets. My horse is a large, opinionated draft, who some vets have found intimidating. Let me assure you, that he loves Dr. Marianne. I think he starts to relax as soon as he sees her. When searching for a vet for bodywork and to assess my horse's soundness, I selected Dr. Marianne because of her extensive training, including her internship at Steinbeck Country Equine Clinic, where my horses have received excellent care led by an equine surgeon I love. Connecting with Dr. Marshall-Gibson may have been the best decision I have made for my horse since moving to Colordo. She cares about my horse and readily answers all sorts of questions. She is thorough in her assessment and treatment. She is honest and ethical. I consult Dr. Marshall-Gibson to assess soundness when necessary but primarily see her for maintenance bodywork and chiropractic treatment. While we did one course of Adequan at one point, I love that she does not resort to repeated injections or expensive supplements with unsubstantiated claims. When we first met, I told her that my horse had been on a 6 week chiropractor schedule and she looked at me skeptically as though that level of treatment was not necessary. A few months ago, I became very concerned about the farrier service I was receiving. Dr. Marshall-Gibson and Whitney readily contacted farriers on my behalf and connected me to perhaps the best farrier in Colorado. I am beyond thrilled and never would have made this connection without her. My horse's feet are in the best condition since he moved to Colorado. All of the veterinary assistants at Front Range are great, but a special shout out to Whitney who knows me, my horse, my goats, and my program. Jordyn, who facilitates scheduling, is also fantastic, and very easy to communicate with via text or phone. I am grateful Dr. Marshall-Gibson makes farm calls down to Boulder and for the individualized care she provides to my horse. While my horse may not "need" treatment every 6 weeks, I feel so much better with her keeping eyes and hands on him since I have been more diligent in maintaining regular appointments (typically closer to 8-10 weeks). He LOVES her.
Dec 16, 2024 · Suzie BruchLast year our Quarter horse got a Sweeney Shoulder injury due to a fall in an irrigation ditch. I specifically credit the vets at Front Range for his complete recovery. This summer he is back on the trails, doing great! I love the staff at Front Range Equine Performance. They are consistently timely, communicative and knowledgeable. Our horses have greatly benefited from their continued monthly care even after Dunson's injury and recovery.
Jul 14, 2024 · Mary LorenzAs a vet myself, I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Branecky and Dr. Marshall-Gibson. They are both talented lameness doctors and have continued to help me keep my complicated mare happy and healthy. If your horse needs help maintaining their peak performance, this is the team you need!
Jan 08, 2025 · Lauren ShamonI live in a very rural town about 3 hours away from Berthoud and struggle to find quality care for my horses. After being unsuccessful in finding support in my area- I decided to make the drive to see Dr Marshall-Gibson after FREP came highly recommended on a horse forum. The long drive was worth every second for the care my horses received from the Dr and her tech, Whitney. They were incredibly patient with both horses, took the time to explain every single thing they were doing, showed me ways to stretch/rehab them at home, and sent me a very descriptive recap of the appointment afterwards including instructions on each stretch. I am extremely impressed by how much time they took on each horse and how knowledgeable Dr Marshall-Gibson is. I am already looking forward to bringing them back in the spring!
