My cat Poppy was having some GI issues today, i took her in as a walk in/urgent care and they brought me back super quickly, as well as the vet came super quickly after the vet tech took her vitals. Everyone I interacted with was super kind and attentive. Thank you to the woman working at the front, the vet tech that took her vitals, the vet, the woman who checked me out and provided me with a ton of potty pads and butt wipes for Poppy if she had an accident, and the vet tech that administered her medications before we left when I requested to do so. I would recommend this vet clinic to anyone I know with pets- you can tell that they care.

This place is a joke! Absolutely horrible! Charge an arm and a leg to almost kill my dog. They are so incompetent they did not even check my dog's mouth for the tobacco that she had eaten and the whole reason why we came. Well over $2,000 for nothing. We were charged for things they clearly did not do such as checking her teeth / her mouth. The hospital called the following morning with news of possible long-term nerve damage and brain damage. They said she refused to eat and was not showing signs of improvement after everything they had done. All the tests they had run. When I got there they brought her to us in a urine soaked towel that she had been sitting in all night. The first thing we did was check her mouth. There was clearly black chewing tobacco stuck in her teeth, it was very visible and anyone who opened her mouth would have seen this. The worst part is that she had continuously been consuming chewing tobacco the entire time she was there, well over 24 hours. If we had listened to them and left her in their care she most likely would have suffered brain damage and nerve damage due to their incompetence because tobacco is poison to dogs. After getting the tobacco out of her mouth she ate the food we brought her and she was walking in an hours time. I questioned the "vet" who actually had the nerve to argue with me, she said that I wasn't even sure what my dog had ingested. When I actually brought it with me and showed it to them and told them exactly what I thought it was and that it smelled like chewing tobacco that she had eaten while we were walking the neighborhood. We took out poor urine cover dog out of that incompetent, money hungry, good for nothing excuse of a "pet hospital". These people are incompetent! Do not take your animal there if you are taking them for any kind of care, but if you want them put down this is the place to go to.

Our 2 year old husky was diagnosed with persistent atrial standstill and needed a pacemaker. The cardiology team at friendship hospital was outstanding - they patiently walked us through every step of the process. Dr. McLaughlin performed the pacemaker implantation for our pup and the results have been amazing. The procedure went so well and our pup has been recovering great and is back to her normal, happy self. We could not be more thankful for the incredible team at Friendship and the cardiology department specifically. Everyone was so kind and made themselves available to answer our many questions. cannot recommend them enough. Dr. McLaughlin is incredible and is absolutely one of the best in his field!

I highly recommend Friendship Hospital’s oncology department to anyone with a pet suspected to have or diagnosed with cancer. Last September, my dog Wilbur showed signs of lymphoma. None of the tests run at my previous vet were conclusive. I felt like I had no support from my vet at the other clinic and I knew that Wilbur had cancer. I took matters into my own hands and called friendship oncology. Jess on the oncology team was able to get Wilbur in to see Dr. Foskett that same week, despite me not having conclusive test results and no referral from my vet. After a few more tests, Wilbur did in fact have lymphoma and we started him on treatment. Though Wilbur passed away in May, we enjoyed 8 extra months with him. He was happy, mostly healthy, and able to be his normal self for his last year of life. And despite Wilbur’s behavioral issues, the entire team was so good to him and took exceptional care of my dog. When Wilbur passed, they even sent us a card with kind words from 10+ people on the team. I am so thankful for Friendship hospital and the amazing care they provided Wilbur. They made a tough situation so much easier and I felt like I had the support I needed to say goodbye to my dog when the time came.

**PLEASE READ SO YOU WON'T REGRET** "If they listened and given her the Dexamethasone as soon as she there is a good chance she would be alive" I ignored bad comments I hope you don't TLDR: - give a LOW and HIGH estimate and they exceed the high estimate without confirming with the pet owner. they ask you to pay the LOW to secure the payment. - they want $12'000 for 1 MRI, 0 diagnoses, 48 hours hospitalization - they added charges for hospitalization and medications after our dog passed away! - my dog stayed for less than 3 days and they said they charged 80 bills for medicine they mentioned they would give daily ( they fixed it after 2 weeks when finally found a way to speak with a specialist) - they said they have a specialist on-call if you admit your pet to the ER they will bring the specialist immediately - they just send you a bill and tell you they only have an online billing department so even if you find something wrong in the bill make it very difficult to deal with Details: we called Friendship AM of Sunday after another hospital told us we needed to find a hospital that could do an MRI immediately .. confirmed twice with the staff that they told us a Neurologist was on-call and as soon as we came would have him see our dog if we agreed to admit Roxie Dog as ER patient( that their way to charge you 10x the normal) and we agree. a vet friend overseas message me"ask them to give her Dexamethasone as soon as she arrives" we arrived and confirmed one more time will she see a neurologist if you admitted her to the ER immediately they said yes we already called the on-call doctor. they made us wait in the ER for 4 and a half hours ER doctor came and said you are right and the previous hospital was correct you need a neurologist to perform an immediate MRI ( sorry for the delay) but first, I need to ask more senior /staff doctors to make sure this is a neurologist thing. another few hours passed by. and then they said. YES we agree with the previous hospital and MRI is needed asap However, the neurologist said it's a little bit later now ( it was around 6 PM) and they prefer to sleep well and come earlier morning tomorrow around 7 and do an MRI if there is a need for surgery we can perform it immediately if you sign up for some paper.) we are powerless and don't have any option but to agree. I mentioned that they told us when we call (TWICE) they have someone on call who can immediately look at our dog given we already went to the Emergency room less than 24 hours ago. but that was a lie just to charge the whole thing again. I asked again and again to give the Dexamethasone and the vet said we couldn't as the Neurologist wanted to see her at her worst. so they can diagnose Roxie better even though her condition was rapidly worsening.. am surprised how the hospital allows this and still advertises 24/7 neurologist We agreed to perform an MRI and then surgery the next day. they asked us to admit Roxie for hospitalization since they wanted to perform the surgery and MRI very early as soon as they came at 7 AM. Even this did not happen we did not receive a call until 11 or something they did that and said she needed a steroid injection and that she might have cancer. or maybe just an infection ( they told us this would be very clear in MRI since xRAY in the previous hospital could not tell) but will give her everything even the Dexamethasone after she wakes up from MRI) they did feed her before the MRI in a few hours ( not sure when exactly) but she did also vomit ( they told me when they asked for hospitalization that they would make sure she doesn't eat before so she doesn't shock with her vomit when she is doing MRI) but they did feed her and she shock with her vomit a little bit ( the way they describe it) Roxie passed away, and the vet friend I mention in the beginning said when I call him later after 2 weeks "If they listen and give her the Dexamethasone as soon as she there is a good chance she would be alive"
