They got our cat in right away for an emergency visit to treat an eye infection. Dr Carl was extremely kind and called us after surgery and updated us. Very reasonable pricing and all of their front desk staff very polite and helpful.

Need zero! I just left this facility extremely angry. I have a 11 year old yorkie female who developed a mammary swelling. When I called and made an appointment I made it clear I wanted to have the lump examined for possible cancer. I was told the doctor would aspirate the lump and look under the microscope and tell me if cancerous or benign. I was given price of 155.00 which included aspiration and exam of tumor under microscope by vet. The vet proceeded to examine the lump and went on about mammary tumors. So I am waiting for the needle aspiration. He then says well let me do an exam. Something I DID NOT ASK FOR AND ALREADY PAID FOR JULY 2024 with this vet for routine vaccination visit! So he finished exam and dog is fine. I asked about needle aspiration again I was told I would get wben making appointment. He went in circles round and round about whether benign or cancerous it didn't matter she would best need spaying. I said I want to know if benign or cancerous before decision making on spaying. Did he not have the ability to do that. He said "no." He said I understand you want an aspiration but I would send it off to lab after I had been told you would look under the microscope and give me an idea. Well he had no intensions of an aspiration. Never did. Should have said that a lot earlier. He just went on about not going to matter if benign or cancerous?? Needs spaying. When I insisted he said well we can do one and send it to pathology for extra $200 on top of a physical exam I didn't need. At that point I became angry and said you have an obligation to inform before a person makes an appointment. He and his staff because VERY abusive when I objected to not being properly informed! I said take aspiration off my bill and he said you are going to pay for exam and went furthur to tell me to watch what I said and they have a history with me. My response was oh where I had another vet that amputated her leg for $800 versus your $2000.00 plus estimate when I already paid them close to $600 for cast. Bad history with these folks is they could gauge you for more money. He then proceeded to tell me I was going to pay and not come back to practice. I told them sue me. I would fight that abuse. Folks I'm a retired Intensive Care Nurse BSN. I have worked in hospitals, for physicians and ran medical offices with years of service. We were trained never abuse patient or family. Sadly the self serving non care and disrespect seen in this situation towards a concerned client is now evident in our society today in multiple services. I hope your experience goes better. Dr.Nunn and the whole staff were wonderful. They fit me in right away for my cat Lily to be seen. Unfortunately, Lily could not be helped and needed to be euthanized. Dr.Nunn was very compassionate and honest. I felt the fees were very fair and they did not recommend extra tests or procedures that would have been costly and wouldn’t have changed the outcome. I’m thankful I now have a great place, with great people to take my pets in the future.

Free home Animal Hospital has been our vet for over 24 years. Dr Karl is excellent and one of the most compassionate people I have had the pleasure of knowing. He has seen us through 6 dogs and 2 cats during this time. I can recommend them enough.
