This is a bit long, but please read through to the end to fully understand why a 5-star rating is simply not enough for this amazing place. In what was undoubtedly one of the most terrifying moments for our family, Freddie's Place Animal Hospital & Urgent Care proved to be an absolute lifeline. Our beloved cat, Gabby, was brutally attacked by a coyote in our own backyard in broad daylight. Panic set in, and we rushed her to Freddie's Place, a hospital we had never visited before, unsure of what to expect. From the moment we arrived, the staff's immediate and compassionate response was a wave of relief. They met us outside and ushered us in without delay. We were quickly seen by Dr. Gomez and Nick, who immediately took charge and kept us informed every step of the way. That very night, we also had the privilege of meeting Angel, who, along with Dr. Gomez and Nick, played an instrumental role in saving Gabby's life. After a nerve-wracking night, Gabby underwent surgery to repair her jaw, and thanks to the incredible skill and dedication of the team, she pulled through! She spent the next two weeks recovering at Freddie's Place, and remarkably, she seemed to genuinely love being there. And honestly, so did we. While Gabby was in their care, we felt completely supported and informed. Jill and Cassie at the front desk were always welcoming and helpful throughout those two weeks, making a difficult time a little bit easier. While we are of course deeply grateful to Dr. Gomez and Nick for their expertise and care, we want to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to Angel. To say that he went above and beyond would be a significant understatement. Every single day that Gabby was in the hospital, Angel personally called us with detailed updates, ensuring we were always in the loop. He thoughtfully sent pictures and videos, allowing us to witness Gabby's daily progress and offering us much-needed reassurance. He patiently explained every medical term, procedure, and medication in a way that was clear and easy for us to understand. We undoubtedly called countless times with questions and for updates, and Angel was consistently kind, compassionate, caring, and unbelievably patient with us every single time. He struck the perfect balance of professionalism, genuine care, extensive knowledge, and heartfelt kindness. Knowing Gabby was away from home and her family was incredibly difficult, but Angel went out of his way to spend extra time with her during his shifts whenever he had a spare moment, showering her with the love and attention she needed. This level of dedication was truly extraordinary and brought us immense comfort. Even after Gabby was discharged and back home, Angel continued to check in on her, even on his days off, readily answering any small after-care questions we had. The circumstances that led us to Freddie's Place were unfortunate, but the undeniable silver lining is that we have discovered this hidden gem of an animal hospital. The level of pet care and the quality of the staff are simply out of this world. We will absolutely be bringing both of our pets to Freddie's Place for all their care from now on – the staff truly feel like family. We also deeply appreciated their kindness and welcoming attitude towards our friends and family who came to visit Gabby (thank you, Cassie!). If you are looking for an animal hospital that provides exceptional medical care with a level of compassion and dedication that is truly rare, look no further than Freddie's Place Animal Hospital & Urgent Care. And if you have the pleasure of interacting with Angel, know that your pet is in the hands of someone truly special. This review is for TWO separate urgent care experiences in the past few months at Freddy’s Place. Both of my dogs required different emergency services (before you ask, yes my husband is thankfully still married to me and both dogs are doing fine). One of my dogs was in for a bite caused by a resource guarding foster dog in our care and the other one was in for emergency stomach surgery due to eating a toy. What a roll! Both situations were obviously very stressful and the team here provided exceptional care. Dr. Gomez, you’re amazing. Nick and Angel are awesome. Along with the rest of the incredible vet techs, admin and team- thank you so much. We are so lucky to have all of you working so diligently in urgent care for our fur babies and community. 10/10.

This place is awesome! From meeting my cat, their care, to aftercare. All the staff was soo kind, reassuring and knowledgeable. Thank you for caring for my furbaby like it was your own! They provided extra attention to her medical needs (some prevention care) and I really appreciate it/them- Ivy, Angel, and Dr. Jessica Lamoree. Very thoughtful-thx u! BTW -I stress ate....thx u for the great selection of eats and drinks!

Ready to receive the Best animal care anywhere?? Just Freddie…. We do! The babies always look forward to the car ride to Freddie’s Place💗. We were blessed to see Dr Ryan Bear today. He’s wonderful guys! He’s caring, has a wonderful chairside manner, he talks with you and takes the time to explain what he sees. Let me repeat that… he takes the time to explain what he sees. My dog had a minor emergency and this place was recommended by another urgent care that was to busy. Everyone at Freddy's was super friendly and attentive, we only waited 15 minutes at most. The visit and follow up surgery are both much more affordable than other vets. Can't recommend this place enough
