Four Loving Paws Veterinary Services Inc

I would like to thank the entire staff at Four Loving Paws for the compassion they showed during one of the worst days of our lives. My buddy "Oakley" had seizures for the last year and two days ago he had more than 30 in 24 hours and caused brain damage. It was the hardest 24 hours of our lives. Dr. Shepherd told us to bring him in immediately that morning when we called. I knew what had to be done for my friend of only 4 short years of life but it was four wonderful years of joy and some heartache due to the seizures. He's now free of life's pain and thanks to Dr. Shepherd, it was pretty fast. Thanks to everyone at Four Loving Paws and especially thanks to the young lady who gifted us something to help us remember him by. Thanks so much.

I truly like Dr. Shepard and have always loved the way he is with my fur babies. I hate that I do not like going there anymore because of the receptionist. Today when paying my bill. I was a bit shocked when paying to get an outside stray cat fixed. Like, over double what I have paid before else where. Price was not discussed over the phone when I made the appointment and the lady I talked to went over things but did not say a price to me. Which later I was showen the papers that I signed that at that time had a price written in black ink by my name. (Was not there at the time I signed.) I was handed the clip board and showed where to sign and she went over what I thought was everything on the paper. So lesson learned, even if your in a hurry read all the fine print! Which I get times are different and the cost of things are more. But, for the love, it wasn't even fully about the cost. It was more about the way The receptionist reacted and argued with me like a 10 year old..As a receptionist, if you are going to work with customers, you should be able to have patience and professionalism when doing so. I of course was upset and needed a min. However, the older, heavy set, receptionist was the one I dealt with, was very rude with me instantly. I only expressed that I was shocked and that I'll probably just go back to the other place that I go to because it's cheaper and great customer service. This lady started arguing with me about how as a customer I should be more professional...she even called me a Karen. Well, that's a first for me and she was the one on the clock at her job! But, as long as she's there, this Karen won't be back! Even though I do feel for Dr. Shepherd because he is a very nice professional man. I did talk with him before leaving and felt he heard my concerns and explained things for his business side of things. And so I understood the breakdown of things. And there was a printed paper of cost.(It was just never verbally discussed or pointed out to me. Also want to share that the other younger, short haired receptionist that was there was very nice and professional! But, one bad apple can spoil the bunch.

Love this veterinarian and all the staff. They are so polite and willing to answer any and all questions. They are all great with our rottie puppies and don't hesitate to get in the floor with them and love all over them. Highly recommended 💖

These people are absolutely wonderful. I took my old dog in for surgery. They explained everything in detail before and after. I was so worried before I talked with them and then I was completely at ease. I knew he was in good hands. Everything went great. Dr Shepherd is excellent! And the whole staff is wonderful. Thank you Four Loving Paws!

My dad took his 3.5 month old puppy there for her shots and she died less than 24 hours later. He called the vet after she passed and all they had to say was “oh, sorry”. They gave her 3 shots and two liquid doses. Wayyy too much for a 6.6 lbs puppy! Stay away from this place!
