We have been clients of Forum Animal Hospital for many years, and there is truly no veterinary care like theirs. From the moment you begin care with them, you become part of a family. Every member of the staff recognizes you and treats you with warmth and compassion, always referring to you as your pet’s parent. Over the years, we’ve brought multiple pets into their care, and each one has been loved not just by us, but by the entire Forum team. When it comes time to make the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to a beloved pet, they are right there with you—offering comfort, patience, and genuine empathy. Their compassion is unmatched, and they grieve alongside you. We feel incredibly fortunate to have our animals cared for by such dedicated professionals. Dr. Susan Sczepanski, in particular, is truly exceptional. Recently, we had to make the difficult decision to put down our beloved red heeler due to a tragic accident. Dr. Sczepanski’s kindness, gentle presence, and the care she provided to both our pet and our family were beyond anything we could have hoped for. I truly don’t know how we would have gotten through it without her support. Forum Animal Hospital is not just a veterinary clinic—it’s a place of love, compassion, and unwavering support. We are deeply grateful.

Forum Animal Hospital can be contacted at (573) 446-3227 or via mobile phone at +1 573-446-3227. While specific details about the hospital's environment are not explicitly available online, customer reviews offer insights into the atmosphere and care provided. One long-term client describes the hospital as more than just a clinic, emphasizing a feeling of becoming part of a family from the moment care begins. This suggests a warm and welcoming environment where staff members recognize clients and treat them and their pets with warmth and compassion. The team is described as loving each pet under their care, indicating a nurturing and attentive atmosphere within the facility.

The services offered at Forum Animal Hospital are comprehensive, catering to various aspects of pet health. While a detailed list of services isn't provided in the given information, the positive review highlights their support during difficult times, such as when a pet needs to be euthanized. This implies that they offer end-of-life care with compassion, providing comfort and empathy to both the pet and the owner. The mention of Dr. Susan Sczepanski's exceptional kindness and gentle presence during such a sensitive time suggests that the hospital prioritizes compassionate care in all its services.

Based on the positive testimonial, a key feature of Forum Animal Hospital is their commitment to compassionate and empathetic care. Clients feel like part of a family, and their pets are treated with love by the entire team. The staff's ability to offer comfort and support during emotional times, such as saying goodbye to a pet, is a significant aspect of their service. The dedication of professionals like Dr. Sczepanski further enhances the quality of care provided, instilling trust and confidence in pet owners.

However, it is important to consider all available information to provide an objective introduction. One review describes a significantly negative experience during the early stages of the pandemic. This client recounts being denied entry to the facility with a sick dog and being informed of the pet's poor prognosis while waiting in their car. The review details a distressing situation where the only option offered was euthanasia in the car trunk, which the client declined. This experience was described as uncompassionate and traumatic, highlighting a stark contrast to the positive experience shared by another client. This negative review points to a potential inconsistency in service or a challenging situation handled poorly during a unique and stressful period.

Considering both positive and negative feedback, Forum Animal Hospital appears to have a strong foundation of caring and dedicated professionals who, under normal circumstances, provide compassionate care and build strong relationships with their clients. The positive review emphasizes a family-like atmosphere and exceptional support during difficult times. However, the negative review raises concerns about the hospital's protocols and communication during the pandemic, suggesting that there might have been instances where their service fell short of expectations. It is crucial for potential local users to weigh these different perspectives when considering Forum Animal Hospital for their pet care needs.

As a pet hospital in the category of veterinary care, Forum Animal Hospital aims to provide essential medical services and support for pets. While specific promotional information is not available in the provided text, the positive review serves as a testament to the quality of care and the dedication of the staff, particularly Dr. Sczepanski. This word-of-mouth praise can be considered a form of positive promotion, highlighting the hospital as a place of love, compassion, and unwavering support for pet owners and their animals.

In conclusion, Forum Animal Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, offers a range of veterinary services within a setting that many clients have found to be warm, welcoming, and supportive. The team is described as compassionate and dedicated, going above and beyond to care for pets and their owners, especially during challenging times. However, potential clients should also be aware of the negative experience shared by one reviewer, which highlights potential inconsistencies in service, particularly during the pandemic. It is recommended that local users consider these different perspectives and perhaps contact the hospital directly to inquire about their current protocols and services to make an informed decision about their pet's care.

During the start of the pandemic, I brought my mother's dog here to ask about a cough. They were not permitting human clients inside their facility at the time. They called me (I was in my car, waiting) telling me he would not live long. They offered to put him down but it would need to be in the trunk of my own car over a trash bag because they would not allow human clients inside even under these circumstances. I of course declined. They then left me out front outside their facility sobbing, waiting to be handed my dog on his leash. While I waited I had to watch other clients bringing their healthy young dogs outside to bring them home. It was extremely uncompassionate care. Thank God I was able to go to Rolling Hills where they DIDN'T make me bring my dog in the trunk of my own car to put him to sleep outside in their parking lot. I cannot imagine having this traumatic moment so publicized. My mother took her dog here for over a decade and this is how they treated her. I understand that under the circumstances there's no way I would have a positive experience learning my dog would not live long. However this facility made my experience the worst it could have been.

Horton Animal Hospital has been our go to vet for nearly 15 years. From our first puppy until we had to put her down 14 years later - they helped us take the best care of her. Now that we have our new puppy they have already helped us make sure she has the best health as she continues to grow. Dr. Door is a wonderful Vet and we worked with several others as well. She helps take care of your pets as if they were her own

Our cat needed a tooth extraction . The staff got our pet's records from our old clinic and got us an appointment within two days . After the initial wellness visit , they scheduled cleaning , surgery , etc. within two days . After we dropped our pet off at 7:30 a.m. , Dr. Weitzel ,personally , called three times during the day to give us updates . The staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. Our first appointment will not be our last ! I highly recommend Forum Animmal Hospital. Thanks again !
