While specific details about the physical layout are not provided, a typical pet hospital environment would feature a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area where clients and their pets are greeted. This space would lead to multiple examination rooms designed for conducting thorough physical assessments and client consultations. Beyond the public-facing areas, a well-equipped veterinary hospital includes specialized medical zones. These typically encompass an in-house laboratory for rapid diagnostic testing, such as blood chemistries, complete blood counts, urinalysis, and fecal analysis, enabling quick and accurate results. Imaging capabilities, including digital radiography (X-rays) and potentially ultrasound, are crucial for internal diagnostics. A sterile surgical suite, complete with anesthesia machines, patient monitoring equipment, and recovery areas, is essential for performing various procedures, from routine spays and neuters to more complex soft tissue surgeries. Diagnostic services are critical for identifying health issues early and accurately; these would include various laboratory tests and advanced imaging. Dental care is another vital component, ranging from routine cleanings to extractions and treatment of periodontal disease, which can significantly impact an animal's overall health. Surgical services would encompass a wide range of procedures, from elective surgeries like spays and neuters to medically necessary soft tissue surgeries. The customer review detailing the emergency care for Bella, who ingested edibles, where the hospital "had us bring her over right away and they gave her IV fluids and kept her overnight," strongly indicates that Forest Hills Veterinary offers urgent and emergency care services. This demonstrates a readiness to respond quickly to critical situations, a crucial service for any pet hospital. These people are amazing. My daughters dog got into some edibles which she accidentally left her purse on the floor opened which she also didn't realize. And Bella being like a toddler and getting into it and getting the troches, we called them and they had us bring her over right away and they gave her IV fluids and kept her overnight. I'm very grateful for them. Thank you to Forest Hills Vet for saving our Bella.
