DON’T GO HERE ! I have been with this vet for 6 years. Love Brenda and the other vet ladies there. Now the doctor is something else. His answers and information just sounds like he don’t care and no type of transparency. I just called to set a check up and skin problem for my dog. The way he was talking on the phone like he didn’t care and was lost. Saying he couldn’t find my files and I haven’t been there for years which is a lie because I was there either the ending of last year or beginning of this year for my husky’s skin problems. Once I couldn’t get through with him on the phone because for some reason he couldn’t find my files under my name or my dogs, I told him I’m going somewhere else then and hung up. Usually when Brenda answers, she is able to pull us up quick. Then a minute later he called back and left a voicemail stating that they find my files and to call back. After that, I’m not returning and it’s sad because I brought my GSD when he was 4months old in 2018. Took a rescue husky at the age 5 in 2019 and been with this vet. I guess it was the vet ladies bringing us back. If you want a vet doctor who cares, this is not the place.

Serving the local community and their beloved animal companions, Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital aims to provide a wide array of veterinary services to ensure the health and well-being of pets. Operating under the platform category of a Pet Hospital, it functions as a comprehensive center for animal care, offering not just medical attention but also a pet pharmacy for convenient access to medications and related products.
The environment at Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital is intended to be welcoming and professional, catering to the needs of both pets and their owners. While specific details about the clinic's ambiance are not explicitly mentioned in the provided information, a typical veterinary hospital strives to create a clean, comfortable, and reassuring atmosphere. Examination rooms are equipped for thorough check-ups and consultations, and the presence of experienced veterinary professionals suggests a focus on delivering quality care. The availability of a dedicated phone line, (253) 833-9100 (also accessible via mobile at +1 253-833-9100), indicates their commitment to accessibility and communication with pet owners.
The services offered at Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital appear to be diverse, catering to various aspects of pet health. Based on the customer reviews, the hospital provides routine check-ups, addresses specific health concerns such as skin problems in dogs, and offers necessary procedures and documentation for pet travel, including health certificates. The mention of "other vet ladies" and a specific doctor suggests a team of veterinary professionals with different areas of focus or roles within the clinic. The ability to schedule appointments, as indicated by a positive review, highlights their operational functionality in addressing pet owners' needs in a timely manner.
One of the key features of Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital, inferred from the information, is the presence of a pet pharmacy. While not explicitly detailed, the fact that it operates as a pet hospital implies the availability of medications and potentially other pet-related products dispensed on-site or through their services. This offers convenience for pet owners as they can often obtain necessary prescriptions and treatments directly after a consultation or examination, streamlining the process of caring for their animals.
However, the customer reviews present a mixed perspective on the services provided. One review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the communication and perceived lack of care from a particular doctor. This customer, a long-term client, mentions difficulties in accessing their pet's records and describes the doctor's demeanor as uncaring and lacking transparency. This negative feedback highlights a potential area for improvement in terms of communication and ensuring a consistent standard of care across all veterinary professionals within the hospital.
In contrast, another customer review offers a positive experience, specifically regarding the process of obtaining a health certificate for their dog's air travel. This customer praised the quoted price, the ease of scheduling, and the thoroughness and speed of the examination. This positive feedback suggests that Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital is capable of providing efficient and satisfactory services in certain areas, particularly those related to travel documentation.
Considering these contrasting experiences, it's important for local users to weigh the information carefully. The positive review indicates competence and efficiency in handling specific needs like travel health certificates, suggesting that for certain services, the hospital may be a reliable option. The negative review, however, raises concerns about the consistency of care and communication, particularly with one of the doctors. It might be beneficial for potential new clients to inquire about the specific veterinarian they will be seeing and to communicate their needs and expectations clearly.
As a pet hospital, Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital likely adheres to standard veterinary practices and protocols. They are expected to have facilities for examinations, potential minor procedures, and the dispensing of medications. The mention of a long history with some clients (six years in one case) suggests that the hospital has been serving the community for a considerable period, building relationships with pet owners over time. The reliance on specific staff members, as indicated by the preference for "Brenda and the other vet ladies," points to the importance of individual interactions and relationships in the veterinary care experience.
Regarding promotional information, none is explicitly provided in the given text. However, as a local pet hospital, Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital likely relies on word-of-mouth, local listings, and potentially their online presence (if any) to attract new clients. They might consider offering introductory offers for new patients, vaccination packages, or seasonal promotions to better engage with the local pet owner community. Highlighting the positive aspects of their services, such as efficient travel certifications and the experience of long-serving staff members, could also be a part of their outreach efforts.
In conclusion, Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital in Auburn, WA, operates as a pet hospital providing a range of services, including routine check-ups, treatment for illnesses (such as dog skin problems), and specific services like health certificates for pet travel. They also function as a pet pharmacy, offering convenience for medication needs. While the hospital has received positive feedback regarding efficiency and pricing for certain services, there are also concerns raised about communication and consistency of care with at least one of the doctors. Local users considering Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital should take these points into account and perhaps seek further information or clarification based on their specific pet care needs. The hospital's longevity in the community and the positive experiences of some clients suggest a potential for quality care, but it's advisable for new clients to establish clear communication and expectations from the outset to ensure a satisfactory experience for both themselves and their pets.

Oct 18, 2024 · ShesRoyallCalled to ask about Health Certificates for my dog to be able to fly. Was quoted a price lower than the other places that I’d called and was able to schedule for later that day. The exam was thorough, speedy and easy to get the necessary documentation for travel. I would recommend to anyone in need of care for their pet.
Jul 18, 2024 · Kalina McKeeVery helpful, thoughtful and mindful of customer, pet and clinic needs. Called before our appointment to let us know we may need to consider an animal hospital for the concern with your dog. We appreciated the feedback and direction.
Oct 22, 2021 · KimmohTwo male brother cats neutered. Shots were cheap as was the service. Covid makes everything awful but both boys are doing fantastic nonetheless. Got antibiotics for at home, much cheaper than other places we looked at. Thank you all for taking such good care of our guys!
Jul 02, 2020 · Nicholas MoenThey were so nice on the phone when I inquired about my little fur babies teeth that I actually switched Vet's!! And the care they took of my dog was awesome! Also the price to get his teeth pulled was a 1/4 of what I was quoted at his regular Vet place. And he didn't even need additional meds when his surgery was done.... Mostly cause they took such good care of him. Very impressed with them and that's saying a lot when it comes to the care of my fur baby!
