Took our dogs here for years! Always received great help with lots of explanations. Our latest dog had to be put down yesterday. He was 16 and 5 months. Always hard to lose a pet! The last year we had been bringing him in for Librela shots to help with his arthritis. They worked great, and allowed him to walk comfortably. We forgot to ask for his collar and I wanted it. I called today they retrieved it for me, so thankful we have a memory of him. And appreciate the wonderful care all ours dogs have received.

Nov 27, 2024 · Regina KerninI do not care what any other review says, I will always hype and recommend this place, especially after my cat Bitz shattered her elbow in 3 different spots as a kitten. I called probably 8 places before I called Ford and no one would see her for like a day or two and wanted an insane amount upfront just for an office visit. I called Ford as a last resort and explained my situation. They squeezed her in that day, took x-rays and the vet there explained my options. Told me they could realign the elbow and cast it right there and now or I could spend over 5k on an invasive surgery that would stunt the growth of her leg. The cast would leave her with a stiff leg and limp the rest of her life but the leg would grow. With her still still growing, I opted for the cast. The end results? Because they did such an amazing job, not only does she not have a limp or stiff leg but I left their offices without draining my bank account even though I had to bring her in a few more times to be recasted. They are now the only vet I will go. Not to mention everyone working there was so friendly too. My cat is now 3 years old and still a pain in my behind, but I love her so much.
Feb 06, 2022 · Kitty AllisterAlways had a positive experience dealing with the vets in the Lewiston office. First and only time going to Hyde park location I had a terrible experience and rudeness from the front staff. Fast forward to today, I was told to go somewhere else for an emergency because there booked for the day and into next week. I assumed like a child if something happens or they get sick you can always call your vet for an unwell visit. Apparently, that is not the case. I guess I will look for a new vet clinic.
Oct 17, 2024 · Jaime BlaskoI made an appointment for my 12 year old dog, Max, to ask if anything, besides surgery, could be done about his cataracts. When I asked Dr. O'Toole she said that she never heard of eye drops for dogs with cataracts! I saw a commercial on TV about it and did my own research but she had no knowledge of this and was looking it up on her phone. She looked in Max's eyes and did nothing more. I was charged $40 for the visit and $20 for a "comprehensive" physical exam. For $60 I got no answers about the cataracts. I hope Dr. O'Toole works on remaining "current" in her veterinarian practice. Max and I are disappointed.
Aug 01, 2024 · Cindy AllsopThis is a huge debate for me. My dogs and I absolutely love Dr. McCarthy and would give him 7 stars. He is very patient and kind. He treats my furbabies like there his own family. Now, the front staff is a huge negative factor so i had to take some stars away. The two front staff ladies are incredibly rude and condescending; I ask questions because I'm not an expert. I don't want an anxiety attack before I go to the vets.
