Follow Your Heart Animal Hospital

I adopted my dog from FYH Rescue and I've had all his visits at FYH Animal Hospital and they have taken great care of him. Their scheduling is convenient, their prices are extremely reasonable, their staff is caring, and best of all they do a lot to help rescue and save more dogs. Front desk Simakara, Dr. Lesmeister, Dr. Jackson, and all of their vet techs are all exceptional and caring staff.

I cannot say enough good things about this place to give them proper justice. My cat Wizard is having dental issues, and while his appetite isn't hurting, he's having trouble chewing and had a couple of decayed teeth fall out the other day. When I called to set up the appointment, they were very friendly, honest and upfront about their prices and service, they had availability the next day, and I was able to do most of the paperwork online. Bringing him in was so easy. They have a large open lobby that connects the hospital to the adoption and store part, with plenty of room for everyone and their pets. Their receptionists were very kind and helpful, and checking in was super fast and simple. I would like to note, they have many animals up for adoption that need homes and they have so many supplies that are reasonably priced to get you started. We saw them help a couple people surrender animals and a couple that was adopting and they were so thorough with instructions and the needs of the animals, you can tell how much they really care about those babies. Going back into the office room was really standard, plenty of seating for owners and big enough the pets can come out safely. They also open the door super slow to make sure pets don't sneak by on accident to the back of house. The Vet and Technician were so nice and gentle with my cat. The Vet took a look at his mouth and could see that some teeth have broken off, some need removed, and there might be other roots lingering. He gave me a quote for their services that was literally a third of the price the higher end places quoted, and half the more reasonably priced places. But most importantly, he told me they don't do X-rays there and that I may want to take him somewhere that does X-rays because of things that could be happening with bone erosion, broken roots, and other risks. They even recommended a couple places that are also very reasonably priced. In a world where everyone is just trying to make a buck, it means more than the world to me that these people cared enough to tell me exactly what my cat needed, knowing it would have me spending money elsewhere. They aren't corporate owned and they aren't profit hungry and you can tell the moment you walk in the door. I may have to get dental elsewhere because it's what's best for my cat, but I also have 4 cats total and, God forbid they need it, anytime I need to see a vet, I will 100% be going here.

We love this vet clinic! In a time when other vets are price gouging middle class families, you can count on Follow Your Heart to have exceptional care are more affordable prices. Their Drs and Techs are so sweet and extremely knowledgeable. Definitely a 5 star experience every time we have been.

I cannot say enough great things about FYH! They take amazing care of my dog, Lola (a FYH rescue formerly named Laverne), have a caring and knowledgeable staff, competitive pricing for services, and I know supporting the clinic helps support the rescue so it’s an added bonus. I also love the Healthy Paws market next door and we always pop in to say hello and buy a post-vet treat (like when we got lollipops from the doctor as kids).
