Fletcher Animal Hospital

I bring all 3 of my dogs here, and one is not the easiest to deal with, might I add. They always are so kind and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door! The quality of care for my babies is 10/10. Dr Foote is so kind and explains everything very well and all my dogs love her!

Truth, compassion, amiable and I was given choices. The care and concern that I and my Kitten received was what I expect. Not everyone has unlimited funds to care for their animal. It's nice to work with a group who understands. Great Job!

To start with, I’ve read all the reviews here and I’m fully prepared for the pushback. I now understand a person named Dr. Pat is out of the picture and many are disappointed. I also understand the new owners have plowed a lot of capital into upgrading the services and practices offered at the Hospital. We live in an area tragically underserved by veterinarians and we came in with a semi feral cat we care for rather than wait for days to be seen at another practice. We saw the cat suffering with a foot injury and didn’t want it to get worse. No idea what caused it. In the exam room, the cat was weighed, temp taken, abdomen palpated, butthole observed, and patient photographed. Yes, the paw was looked at and then it was over. We were charged $68 for an office visit, but I was FLOORED to have been charged something like $130 for two prescriptions. One was $70 for pain meds in 3 doses. There was no treatment to the paw in the office. Not even a spritz of Bactine. I was told an invoice would be sent, email was confirmed. I had to request the invoice to learn what these costs broke down to. When I did a google search for Onsior 6 mg Tablet (3 Pack), I was stunned to see I could have obtained this online for $8.64 rather than the $74.36 I was charged by Fletcher Animal Hospital. I certainly question the necessity of cat pain meds in this situation, but now I learn they are trying to recoup their office upgrades. To add insult to this injury, Jenny stated I had approved of these charges beforehand. No. I had to get home, wait for an invoice, then request the invoice to see the charges. I asked her for an image of my signature on the approval she referred to. None was provided. She further stated the “hospital director” would get in touch with me. That never happened. Hence this unhappy review. I realize this will make Fletcher Animal Hospital unhappy too. I expect to receive their standard response with the same typo and to be dismissed from their practice. Our family is struggling with the economic wipeout from Helene. We really couldn’t afford to be gouged at the vet. I won’t tell you to stay away, but do your homework and don’t be shy about asking for charges beforehand. I take full responsibility for allowing us to be exploited for greater profit. Rest easy y’all.

Be careful taking your animal here now. Took my dog in for swollen bite or sting that came up overnight. Was told it was a mass and would require surgery. I mentioned during the visit that I was concerned the doctor had barely looked at my animal. So blood test and xrays later left with surgery to be scheduled. To make a long story shorter voiced my concern again when they called with blood test results. In short no mass 4 days later the bite is gone only a small mark were she was bitten. I had taken my animals to them off and on since they were in the location across the street. I will not be going back. I called them again to voice my concern, cancel surgery and let them know I wouldn't be back. They did not care and I will be spreading the word.

We got a English bulldog puppy and I called fletcher animal hospital so I could get her checked out and start getting her all the things she needs to live a long happy healthy life. I was able to get her in pretty quick, she was seen 2/15/22 and her first appointment was amazing!! They were super sweet to her and myself! Everyone wanted to see her and love on her, and it wasn’t because she’s a new puppy. They were like that towards other clients and there animals as well. We got into a room very quickly and we didn’t wait long at all for the doctor to come in and check her over. The doctor listened to me and answered any and all questions I had. She went over everything with me from toys, safe toys and safe bones, to the food she eats and how much, she went over how to care for her with all her wrinkles. Flea and tick treatment, deworming medicine, her breathing and her teeth. We went over issues she could have with breathing due to the breed of dog she is. I felt like I was listened too and my concerns and questions were answered and I feel so much better. My puppy is super healthy and knowing she has this awesome vet makes me even more happy! This vet office was very clean and tidy and it didn’t smell at all. They must be doing some kind of construction because they have signs up saying they are having work done. But it wasn’t messy at all, I was extremely pleased about our visit today and I’m confident that I found an amazing vet for my Lulu!! She loved all the attention she got today!! I’m excited to watch her grow and to be apart of this vet family!!
