The **environment** at Fix Foundation is consistently praised for its welcoming and professional atmosphere, as evidenced by numerous positive customer reviews. Pet owners frequently highlight the staff's demeanor, describing them as "very sweet and professional" and "terrific and very kind." This suggests a clinic environment where pets and their owners feel comfortable and respected, which is crucial, especially when pets are undergoing surgical procedures. While the provided information doesn't detail the physical layout or specific amenities of the facility, the consistent positive feedback regarding staff kindness and professionalism strongly implies an environment conducive to a positive veterinary experience. The clinic was built in 2009 and has recently completed an expansion, indicating a commitment to improving their facilities to better serve the growing needs of the community. A clean, organized, and calming environment is often a hallmark of well-regarded pet hospitals, and the high recommendations suggest Fix Foundation successfully cultivates such an atmosphere.

The core **services** provided by Fix Foundation are primarily centered around addressing pet overpopulation through high-volume, low-cost spaying and neutering. This mission-driven approach is critical for animal welfare. Their services extend beyond just surgical procedures to include a range of preventative and diagnostic care essential for pet health. Specifically, Fix Foundation offers:

  • Spaying and Neutering: This is their flagship service, offered at significantly reduced costs to make it accessible to a wider population. They accommodate dogs weighing 5 to 90 lbs, and their general pricing for cats is $45, while dogs range from $55-$125 depending on weight. All surgery appointments must be made directly through their clinic office via phone, and prepayment is required to secure the date.

  • Vaccinations: They provide essential vaccines for both dogs and cats at affordable rates, typically ranging from $10-$15. For dogs, they offer DA2PPV, Bordatella (injectable or intranasal), and Rabies vaccines. For cats, FVRCP and Rabies vaccines are available.

  • Microchipping: To aid in the reunification of lost pets, Fix Foundation offers microchipping services for cats and dogs at a cost of $20. They also emphasize the importance of owners registering and keeping their contact information updated with the microchip vendor.

  • Blood Tests and Preventative Medications: This includes Heartworm testing and FeLV/FIV testing. They also offer over-the-counter sales of flea, tick, and heartworm preventative medications during specific walk-in hours.

  • Walk-in Clinic: In addition to scheduled surgeries, Fix Foundation operates a walk-in clinic on Wednesdays from 10 AM to 2 PM for vaccines, heartworm & FeLV/FIV testing, microchipping, and nail trims. Over-the-counter sales of preventative medications are available Tuesday-Friday from 10 AM to 2 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM.

Their comprehensive approach to preventative care, combined with their primary focus on spay/neuter, demonstrates their dedication to the overall health and well-being of pets in the community.

The **features** that make Fix Foundation stand out are numerous and highly beneficial to local pet owners. First and foremost is their **low-cost model**. This commitment to affordability is a game-changer for many families who might otherwise struggle to afford essential veterinary services. The clinic actively works to remove financial barriers to pet care, which is crucial for controlling pet overpopulation and ensuring pets receive necessary medical attention. Secondly, the **professionalism and kindness of the staff** are consistently highlighted in customer testimonials. Reviewers repeatedly praise the "sweet and professional" nature of the team, emphasizing that they are "very kind" and treat pets with genuine care. This level of compassion builds trust and comfort, making the veterinary visit a less stressful experience for both pets and their owners. Thirdly, their **high-volume capacity** allows them to serve a large number of animals, making a significant impact on the stray animal population. Their ability to manage a substantial caseload without compromising quality of care is a testament to their efficient operations and dedicated team. Furthermore, Fix Foundation acts as a **non-profit organization**, which underscores their mission-driven approach rather than a profit-centric one. They are committed to keeping pets safe, happy, and healthy while they await placement in forever homes, working with shelters and rescues through programs like "Simply Cats" to facilitate adoptions via Petco habitats. This community-focused initiative demonstrates their broader commitment to animal welfare beyond just clinical services. They have been voted Best Non-Profit community organization for the past 5 years, highlighting their impactful role.

In terms of **promotional information**, Fix Foundation's primary method of promotion appears to be through its reputation for affordable and high-quality services, as well as its strong community presence. Their website, thefixfoundation.com, serves as a central hub for information about their services, scheduling appointments, and contact details. They actively communicate their hours of operation, including their dedicated walk-in clinic days for vaccinations and other routine services. Their commitment to low-cost spay/neuter services is a key promotional message, attracting pet owners who prioritize affordability without sacrificing quality. They likely leverage positive word-of-mouth referrals, as indicated by the enthusiastic customer reviews. Collaborations with local animal shelters, such as the Simpson County Animal Shelter, are also a form of promotion, as these partnerships highlight their role in addressing pet overpopulation. For instance, they work with the Simpson County Animal Shelter on the "Simply Cats" program, which involves spaying/neutering, testing, vaccinating, microchipping, and treating shelter cats for fleas before they are transported to Petco or PetSmart for adoption. They also participate in initiatives like "Spay Kentucky," which provides low-cost spay/neuter services across the state. While specific time-limited discounts or special offers are not provided in the given information, their consistent offering of significantly reduced prices for essential services acts as a continuous promotion. Their active social media presence, particularly on Facebook, would likely be used to share updates, success stories, and availability for services. The requirement for prepayment for surgery appointments and the emphasis on leaving a detailed message for returned calls suggest clear communication protocols that manage client expectations and ensure efficient service delivery. Their consistent positive reviews serve as a powerful testimonial, attracting new clients through authentic recommendations.

Absolutely an amazing place to take your pets for vet services. The folks here are terrific and were very kind to us and our cat we brought in several procedures. The prices were beyond reasonable and I'd highly recommend this place if you need anything for your pets like spaying and neutering. Absolutely amazingly great experience all around and we'll be using them again very soon!

We drive an hour from Nashville to get our cats taken care of here, and it’s absolutely worth it. Fantastic service, quick, and you can tell they really love animals.

First told me there was a 6 month wait. Due to this being an emergency, they were able to get my puppy in within a week. Second pup I've taken here and I'll always have high praise for Fix Foundation. They are doing God's work!

Fix foundation did a great job with my Dash and Diane’s neuter/spay. Jennifer was attentive and knowledgeable about the process and helped us so much. When my husband picked them up after their procedures he said that the staff enjoyed taking care of our little cuties!
