I took my 7wk old puppy there thinking he was having seizures but found it it was agitation according to the Dr. despite his actions were uncontrollable and however weren’t seizures but I’m not sure I agree it was agitation as he would whimper getting agitated bc he couldn’t control his head whipping around. She not only labeled us as meth users but lied to me about the drug test she says he tested positive for yet no records of this and that “test” cost me 130.00. I could tell they tried to cath him due to the excessive bruising on his little belly above his privates. I was also charged 750.00 for the “emergency care” And wouldn’t have thought so much of it had I not gotten a detailed receipt the next morning when I picked him back up and paid 350.00 more but funny thing is the receipt only gave detail on the $350. There was no mention of the 750 that I paid the night before. I only got a little receipt that just showed the amount I paid like a purchase at a small business type place. Didn’t say why didn’t say anything. I was given all of his records of everything they gave him and every vital sign they obtained on him to give to the vet that morning, none of them not one single piece of that information had anything about a drug test much less showing he was positive for meth. Before I picked him up, she calls me herself the doctor and tells me I need to call poison control and start a case which was another 80 or 90 And tell them he had tested positive for meth so I did. I called them and started a case all upset, not understanding where he got ahold of this so called meth despite her telling me to my face he got it from his environment, which is absolutely not true or possible I live alone and I’m a nurse for crying out loud Yes their are some bad ones but rest assured I’m not one! Anyway, On the phone with poison control we start going over the steps of everything that we had done the day before or the day before that and come to find out low and behold I had sprayed bug spray really heavily around the house so I sprayed it again, unaware that this could affect him And was told when I gave them the serial number off of the bottle of bug spray which ingredient it was that was causing his symptoms however they can mask the symptoms, but this doctor was closed to that idea. She was 100% convinced this dog had gotten hold of meth in his “environment” she says to me. Luckily for them I was tore up crying thinking I was about to lose him and couldn’t comprehend what was really going on. I’m racking my head as to how this puppy got into this drug I’m accused of having around him or this would’ve been a much worse case. I was ripped off with charges they couldn’t give me details as to what the charge was for and it was on a different king of receipt even than the 350 was on the next morning. So you ripped me off with bogus charges, falsely accused me of being a drug addict and being so irresponsible that I dang near killed my puppy which was everything to me as I had just lost my father who I named this dog after giving him my dads nickname since I got him on Father’s Day. Then I was made to call poison control and tell them a lie which this Dr was highly upset that they didn’t agree it was this drug and was mad when I picked him up saying to me “did you not tell them he tested positive for meth?” I think they knew this dr and was aware how crazy she is bc they never considered that being the case even on the phone with her they explained what really caused this that night. I never dreamed a dr who we trust with the lives of our pets so freely would do the things this woman done but I would absolutely take my chances on one passing until I could get them seen anywhere but here ever again. I should’ve gotten a lawyer and regret I did not. I may call and talk to one to see if it’s been too long bc I get so upset and the fraud of this place when I tell ppl why not to trust this wacko who should not be allowed to touch a living being of any sorts.

Welcome to Five Rivers Mobile Veterinary

Introducing Five Rivers Mobile Veterinary, a unique Pet Hospital operating directly in the Morristown, Tennessee area. Unlike traditional brick-and-mortar clinics, Five Rivers Mobile Veterinary brings essential pet care services directly to your doorstep, offering unparalleled convenience for pet owners. Located at 3010 Neblett Rd, Morristown, TN 37813, USA, their mobile approach aims to eliminate the stress of transporting pets to a clinic, potentially reducing anxiety for both animals and their owners.

The concept of a mobile veterinary service offers several potential benefits. For pet owners with multiple animals, those with pets that experience travel anxiety, or individuals with limited transportation, a mobile vet can be a significant advantage. Services are typically performed in a specially equipped vehicle, bringing the necessary tools and equipment for various veterinary needs directly to the pet's familiar environment. This can create a more relaxed and comfortable experience for the animal, potentially leading to a less stressful examination or procedure.

One customer review highlights the convenience aspect, stating that Five Rivers Mobile Veterinary is "hands down better than struggling with 2 dogs in a waiting room." This individual specifically praised the on-time service and the efficiency of the care provided, noting that surgeries, teeth cleaning, shots, and anal gland expressions were completed in just two hours. The reviewer also appreciated not having to transport drowsy dogs back to an office after procedures and found the price to be "perfect for the service," indicating satisfaction with the value received. The friendliness and professionalism of Dr. Parks, along with their attentive listening skills, contributed to an overall 5-star experience for this customer, who highly recommends the service.

However, it is crucial to present a comprehensive and objective overview based on all available feedback. Another customer shared a deeply concerning and negative experience. This review details an incident involving a 7-week-old puppy who was brought in with suspected seizures. The reviewer recounts a drastically different interpretation of the puppy's symptoms by the veterinarian, alleging a misdiagnosis of agitation and a false accusation of meth use. The review describes a purported drug test for which no records were provided, along with significant charges for "emergency care" that lacked detailed documentation. The customer also alleges signs of a possible attempted catheterization and being instructed to call poison control with a false premise. This account raises serious concerns about the diagnostic process, communication, billing transparency, and the overall standard of care experienced by this particular pet owner.

Given the stark contrast between the two reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive overall assessment without further information or a larger sample of feedback. The positive review emphasizes convenience, efficiency, and a positive interaction with Dr. Parks, particularly for routine procedures. The negative review, however, presents serious allegations of misdiagnosis, mishandling, questionable billing practices, and a lack of transparency. It is essential for potential clients to be aware of both positive and negative experiences when considering any veterinary service.

Based on the available information, the services offered by Five Rivers Mobile Veterinary likely include routine procedures such as vaccinations and wellness checks, as well as more involved treatments like surgeries and dental cleanings, as mentioned in the positive review. The mobile unit would be equipped to handle these services on-site at the client's location. The convenience of this model is a significant feature, potentially saving pet owners time and reducing stress for their animals.

Features of Five Rivers Mobile Veterinary likely revolve around the convenience and personalized nature of at-home service. This could include flexible scheduling, reduced waiting times compared to a traditional clinic, and the ability for pets to remain in a familiar and comfortable environment. The personal attention from the veterinarian and staff, as highlighted in the positive review regarding Dr. Parks' listening skills, could also be a key feature.

Promotional aspects for a mobile veterinary service often emphasize convenience, reduced stress for pets, and personalized attention. Five Rivers Mobile Veterinary could highlight the benefits of avoiding crowded waiting rooms and the ease of scheduling appointments that fit the pet owner's lifestyle. The positive review mentioning "price was perfect for the service" suggests that competitive pricing could also be a promotional point.

However, the serious allegations in the negative review serve as a strong caution. Potential clients may want to seek further information, perhaps directly from Five Rivers Mobile Veterinary regarding their protocols, billing practices, and diagnostic procedures, especially in emergency or complex cases. It would also be prudent to seek additional reviews or testimonials to gain a broader perspective on the overall quality and reliability of their services.

In conclusion, Five Rivers Mobile Veterinary offers a convenient alternative to traditional pet hospitals by providing on-site veterinary care in Morristown, TN. The positive review highlights the ease and efficiency of their services for routine procedures, along with a positive interaction with Dr. Parks. However, the serious allegations in the negative review regarding misdiagnosis, billing, and ethical concerns cannot be ignored and should prompt potential clients to exercise caution and seek further information before entrusting their pet's care to this provider. A balanced perspective requires acknowledging both the potential benefits of mobile veterinary care and the critical concerns raised by one customer's experience.

For local users considering Five Rivers Mobile Veterinary, the convenience of at-home service for routine care may be appealing. However, it is strongly recommended to seek additional reviews and potentially inquire directly about their procedures and protocols, especially in cases involving complex medical issues or emergency situations, to ensure they align with your expectations and your pet's needs. The significant discrepancy in customer experiences warrants careful consideration.

Hands down better than struggling with 2 dogs in a waiting room. On-time, only two hours for surgeries, teeth clean, shots, anals. No waiting to run back to office to pick up drowsy dogs! Price was perfect for the service; certainly not over-the-top! Highly recommend. Dr. Parks is super friendly professional and listens ... overall 5 star experience!

I love Dr. Park's!!!! Him and his wife are very knowledgeable about all kinds of animals and treats your pet's like they were his own. My family has been using him for 18+ year's. I love the fact that he has the mobile clinic and is able to do house calls. The mobile clinic is well equipped and can do almost anything that can be done in the office. I definitely recommend Five River's Mobile Veterinary

They were very informative and kind. My little girl, Coco, had a seizure. So, they ran blood work. Thankfully, everything looked okay there. They let me know what to watch for & avoid. I took the paperwork to our usual vet to make them aware of what happened to her, and they already had a copy. Five Rivers had already faxed them a copy! Coco is doing great and hasn't had anymore seizures. Thank you for your help!
