Dr. Mina and staff are the very best. Glad we found them. Our first visit was for an emergency and they treated it as such. Good to know that your vet loves your pet as much as you do. Harvey is doing great after bladder surgery. Not going back to our old vet. Never knew which intern you were gonna get.

Dr. Mina and the staff are very caring, flexible, and kind. I appreciate their thorough and thoughtful attention towards my pets. I loved my vets in Ypsilanti, but needed someone closer to home, and feel so lucky that I found someone so good so near!

We can’t thank Dr Mina enough for saving our dogs life. She came to us as a severely emaciated stray. She also had a very serious case of pyrometria, many gastro intestinal issues, and microfilaria heart worms. Now many months later, she is at the last step of her recovery journey with her final heartworm injection. Our sweet baby wouldn’t have made it out alive without the love and care from Dr Mina and the amazing staff at Five Mile Animal Hospital. Every step of the way, we were fit in for emergency appointments, surgery, and panicked phone calls. Dr Mina was dedicated for finding a solution for every new issue that came up. Our dog, Mama, is living proof of the amazing care this veterinary clinic provides.

Took my dog in to get fixed, surgery was paused mid way through as I was told the vet was 99.9% my dog was pregnant. Months later and my dog never had babies and was never pregnant. We were told we should just keep a better eye on her when taking her outside in our backyard.. Nothing happened but her being traumatized to goto any vet now. Would never go back or never recommend. Also, came back later as my dog broke out in hives post “surgery”, and they gave her Benadryl (which was fine), but I wasn’t warned that in high doses for younger dogs they could seize up and pass out for a few seconds. So I witness my dog seizing up infront of me WITHOUT ANY WARNING WHAT SO EVER… thinking she was dying.. which was also traumatic as I lost a dog months prior to that. Upon leaving the office on this instance never got a goodbye or we are sorry, just a bill. This place sucks and needs to be reported. Period. Oh PS - they offer a discount if you give them a good review on Google cause their last vet tanked the business so bad. So there’s your red flag right there.

I really feel relaxed and safe..crazy cause so did my cat Emelia Bedelia! The doctor explained everything and helped me make the most cost effective decisions..Yes he was actually thinking about $$! The last place just kept trying to upselling!!! Dr Mina was so amazing thoughtful and caring thank you for not taking advantage of my love for my girl!!
