First Coast No More Homeless Pets

My kitten and dog have each visited twice. My dog required surgery in 2023, and my kitten needed vaccinations. All four visits were wonderful. The staff were pleasant, the technicians were kind to the animals, and both veterinarians who examined my pets were excellent. They were very good at explaining their needs and the planned procedures. I highly recommend this place.

We have taken both of our dogs here for a few years now, we have always had a great experience, sometimes the wait is a little longer than others but we have had great interaction with the staff. On our yearly check up in January we were told our 12 year old dog has testicular cancer, they spoke to us about it and let us know we needed to have him neutered to avoid this escalating. First steps were blood work, they let us know we needed to have this done ASAP so they could get him scheduled since this was a time sensitive matter, we got the blood work done within a week, we had to wait on them to get "clips" for the blood work. Fine, we get it done I get a call that his blood work came back great and someone would be calling to schedule the surgery. A week passes, I call the office and try to schedule it myself, I am told that I am on a list to be called, when I asked for an ETA on the call I am told they cannot give me one. So I wait 2 more weeks, still no call, so I call again. First the guy tells me I need to have his blood work done, I tell him I already did that, he cant find it, then he comes back and says he does see it. Then again, tells me I am on a list to be called, when I request an ETA on the call still nothing. How can they make this seem like such an emergent thing, and yet were at a stand still in the process? I understand our dog is "old" but you cant tell someone news like this and then rush them to have everything done only for you to now know when you can schedule the surgery you told the customer they needed to have for their pet. I don't think we will be going back for either of our pets, I don't feel like this is something that we can just sit and wait on.

Really good place where to take your pets. Staff took into consideration that I had hurt my back and I couldn't handle my dog very well, and they put us in a room away from everyone. That really impressed me. They took care of my dog and I was on my way home within an hour. Really really good place.

They really are amazing! My cat has had a complete 180• since having her teeth removed! She was afflicted with a horrible case of stomatitis! Couldn’t eat before the surgery was in so much pain! The stomatitis had her unable to eat and play, I missed my happy kitty. It has been just over two month's since the removal of her infected teeth. She can eat and all the weight has nearly been recovered her quality of life has returned! Thanks again to all of the caring individuals that work here!

I have taken three cats to this place. The first time a couple of years ago was great. My experience on 3/14/2025, however, was completely different. They were completely disorganized when it was time to pick up your pet. We don’t know if we actually got the flea and tick medicine for our cat. We certainly weren’t given it. Hopefully they applied it, but my confidence in that isn’t high. They couldn’t find anybody’s paperwork. They didn’t have medications ready. The sign in clipboard was not easily accessible in the morning or the afternoon. They actually couldn’t locate someone’s dog. They didn’t have enough people at the front to check people out. All of us had to stand there in line for easily 30-45 minutes before we got our pets, and then we had to stand in line after that to receive our paperwork and medications. I did purchase pain medication. I only received enough to give my cat two doses on one day, yet the prescription said to give .3 ml 2-3 times a day as needed. And they did not give us a cone to put on my cat to keep him from licking the area where he had been neutered.
