The Feline Hospital provides the most attentive level of care I have ever encountered, cat or human. The doctors are knowledgeable, loving, and thorough. The staff are likewise kind, responsive, and clearly love animals as well. The office is filled with thoughtful touches meant to make the visit as easy as possible for every patient (and cat parent), like warm blankets to sit on for sick visits. New patients may experience a wait, but it was well worth it to have this level of care. Thank you!

Recognizing that veterinary visits can be stressful for cats, the hospital has taken great strides to create a calm and soothing atmosphere. This dedication is evident in the "thoughtful touches meant to make the visit as easy as possible for every patient (and cat parent)." These details, such as "warm blankets to sit on for sick visits," demonstrate a deep understanding of feline behavior and comfort. The entire facility is geared towards minimizing stress, from quiet examination rooms to a reception area that prioritizes a tranquil experience. This specialized, cat-only environment helps to reduce the anxiety often associated with mixed-animal practices, allowing cats to feel more secure and at ease during their visits.
Feline Hospital offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services, all exclusively tailored to meet the unique needs of cats. While specific service listings are not provided, the glowing reviews from real customers strongly suggest a full spectrum of high-quality care. This likely includes:
- Preventive Care: Routine check-ups, vaccinations, parasite control, and nutritional counseling are fundamental to maintaining a cat's long-term health. The hospital's thorough approach suggests a strong emphasis on proactive health management.
- Diagnostic Services: Equipped to handle various feline health concerns, Feline Hospital likely offers advanced diagnostic tools. This could include in-house laboratory testing for blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams, as well as imaging services like X-rays and potentially ultrasound, to accurately diagnose conditions.
- Medical Treatment: From common illnesses to chronic conditions, the highly knowledgeable doctors are prepared to offer effective medical treatments. This would involve managing a wide array of feline diseases, prescribing medications, and developing personalized treatment plans.
- Surgical Procedures: While not explicitly stated, a comprehensive pet hospital typically provides surgical services, ranging from routine spaying and neutering to more complex soft tissue surgeries. Given the high level of care, any surgical interventions would undoubtedly be performed with utmost precision and attention to patient safety.
- Dental Care: Feline dental health is crucial. It is highly probable that Feline Hospital offers professional dental cleanings, extractions, and other oral health services to address and prevent common feline dental issues.
- Emergency and Urgent Care: Although not explicitly mentioned, specialized hospitals often provide or facilitate urgent care for their patients, ensuring that cats receive timely attention in critical situations.

Dec 23, 2024 路 LissetteI am continually amazed by how thorough, caring and knowledgeable Dr. Ternes is. I am confident that she truly cares about my cats as much as I do & I always leave the office satisfied knowing that my cats are in the best hands on the North Shore. Her team of admin, nurses and techs reflect how hard working and attentive she is. The staff is always accommodating & I love that they always follow up via text and/or email. I highly, highly recommend this office for any cat parent - they are certainly worth the (short) wait.
Dec 31, 2024 路 Kelsey BergquistGetting put on the waiting list to be a client was simple. The wait was a few months, not as long as we thought- keep in mind it is a 2 Dr. privately owned facility, which we prefer as the care and treatment is more personable. Scheduling was quick and they send friendly reminders before your appointment. When you first walk in to the office, you get a very warm and welcoming atmosphere for both yourself and fur babies. Checking in was easy and the receptionist was very friendly. The waiting area was relaxing and they had many ways to help calm your baby before seeing the vet - we didn鈥檛 have to wait long at all before being brought back to the exam room. Dr. Lewis walked in and was so great! She was wonderful, loving and really cared for my kiddos. Dr. Lewis allowed the babies to get comfortable with her and the environment before jumping into the exam. Dr. Lewis and staff handled both babies with care. Im happy to have Feline Hospital and Dr. Lewis as our fur babies Vet. Highly recommended and well worth the wait.
Dec 12, 2024 路 Eric Hammermeister-KahnA professional clean safe environment for your cat. The Vets are excellent and also very caring towards your pet. Very nice staff and a cozy welcoming building. They are top notch. We have brought four different cats there over the last 27 years. Always a great experience in all areas. This is a cats only vet so if you have cat that is skittish around other animals it will be especially good for them. 馃樅
