Update // I forgot to mention two things about Feline Health Center: 1. In 2020, Feline Health Center misdiagnosed my cat, Boyska, with Diabetes. After paying for the vet appointment and tests, I also bought Insulin and syringes from Feline Health Center and a couple of months after administering to him I noticed his blood sugar was very, very (after testing him with my blood glucose meter at home) they admitted that they had made a mistake and that he DID NOT EVER have Diabetes. Was I refunded a cent or even apologized to? Nope. 2. On April 2, 2024, Dr. Ratti called me to say that they had felt a lump of some sort near my cat, Blackie's, bladder. They were about to perform dental work on him so asked me if I still wanted to proceed since he may not live more than a month or two. I was shocked and upset but said of course go ahead with the dental work. Well -- Blackie is still alive and well today -- but it's been a rough 331 days of not knowing -- for me. Be ware and steer clear is my advice from my experiences. _____________________________________________________________ This once-wonderful veterinarian and staff have become jaded, unprofessional, uncaring and downright RUDE. Look elsewhere; there are many new and eager veterinary offices in Morris County that are fresh and dedicated to their profession of truly caring for our animals AND for us, the guardians of our creatures. The Covid-incurred shortage of vets is on the way out. From 2019 until today (1/14/25) when I closed my account, Dr. Ratti and her staff, Patti and Denise, have seen seven (7) of my cats over the years. They were there for us then, but out of the blue they are no longer there in any sense of the word, and actually "ghost" my calls. I have never been late for an appointment, always paid 100% at time of service and bought tons of product from them. I would estimate spending at least $10,000 - $13,000 with them. I have repeatedly asked Dr. Ratti to let me know what on earth changed with their "cold shoulder" with me -- but to no avail. In late December '24 I went in person to the office to find out if they will be there for my oldest (16.8 yrs) two kitties, Blackie and Tabby if I need them (they have seen both before). Patti told me that she didn't know because they are so busy and the doctor is not taking any new patients and that she is planning on her eventual retirement. She told me to call the office on 1/9/25 after the holidays, which I did, but of course: no return call or email, no professional "courtesy" to a long-time, responsible customer to clarify what suddenly changed. I was left hanging on that -- until today. An important FYI is that I never asked nor received a single price break on any service or any product. If you need product from them, go to Amazon or look elsewhere if possible. I would never have thought Feline Health Center capable of such dismissive, unprofessional and ill-mannered behavior, especially from an establishment touting its devotion to felines, which is what I need to see -- and is no longer there. Blackie and Tabby and I have found a new vet eager to care for us.

Welcome to Feline Health Center
Feline Health Center, situated at 98-100 Maple Ave, Morristown, NJ 07960, USA, is a veterinary care facility specializing in the health of feline patients. They can be contacted at (973) 285-5151 or +1 973-285-5151. As a Pet Hospital dedicated to cats, they aim to provide a range of services tailored to the unique needs of feline companions.
Based on recent online reviews from cat owners who have utilized the services of Feline Health Center, there appear to be significantly contrasting experiences. One recent update from a long-term client, spanning from 2019 to January 14, 2025, expresses considerable disappointment and concern regarding a perceived shift in the hospital's service and professionalism. This client, who reports spending a substantial amount (estimated between $10,000 and $13,000) over the years for the care of seven cats, details a concerning experience involving a past misdiagnosis and a more recent situation causing prolonged uncertainty about their cat's health.
Specifically, this reviewer recounts an incident in 2020 where their cat, Boyska, was allegedly misdiagnosed with diabetes by Feline Health Center. Following the diagnosis, the client purchased insulin and syringes from the clinic and administered them for a couple of months before noticing inconsistencies with their cat's blood sugar levels, which were confirmed with at-home testing. The reviewer states that the clinic subsequently admitted the misdiagnosis but did not offer a refund or an apology.
Furthermore, the same reviewer shares an experience from April 2, 2024, involving their cat, Blackie. They report receiving a call from Dr. Ratti, who allegedly informed them of a lump near Blackie's bladder discovered prior to a scheduled dental procedure. The reviewer was purportedly told that Blackie might only have a month or two to live, yet they proceeded with the dental work. As of the time of the review (January 14, 2025), Blackie was still alive, but the owner describes the preceding 331 days as filled with uncertainty. Based on these experiences, this reviewer strongly advises others to be cautious and consider alternative veterinary options.
In a separate, more extensive review, another long-term client echoes similar sentiments of a decline in the quality of care and professionalism at Feline Health Center. This reviewer, who also closed their account on January 14, 2025, after entrusting the care of seven cats to Dr. Ratti and staff members Patti and Denise since 2019, describes the once "wonderful" practice as having become "jaded, unprofessional, uncaring and downright RUDE." They suggest that local cat owners look elsewhere for veterinary care, highlighting the emergence of new and dedicated veterinary offices in Morris County.
This reviewer further elaborates on a perceived "cold shoulder" and being "ghosted" by the clinic after years of consistent patronage, on-time payments, and significant spending on services and products. They recount attempts to understand the change in the clinic's behavior, which allegedly went unanswered. A personal visit to the office in late December 2024 to inquire about continued care for their two oldest cats, Blackie (16.8 years) and Tabby, reportedly resulted in uncertainty from Patti, who cited the clinic's busyness and Dr. Ratti not accepting new patients, along with her own potential retirement plans. The client was advised to call back after the holidays but allegedly received no return communication, leaving them in limbo until they decided to close their account.
This detailed review also notes that the client never received any price breaks despite their long-term loyalty and substantial spending and suggests that purchasing products from alternative sources like Amazon might be preferable. The reviewer expresses disbelief at the dismissive and unprofessional behavior, especially from a clinic specializing in feline care, which they feel is no longer genuinely demonstrated. Ultimately, this client found a new veterinary practice for their cats, Mac and Fury, praising their knowledge, accommodation, and genuine love for cats.
Conversely, the third review provided offers a positive experience with Feline Health Center. This reviewer expresses happiness in bringing their two cats, Mac and Fury, to the clinic, describing the staff as knowledgeable and accommodating. They emphasize that everyone working there loves cats and takes great care to provide comprehensive information to pet owners, leading to a strong recommendation for Feline Health Center.
Considering these varied accounts, it is challenging to provide a definitive overview of the environment, services, and features of Feline Health Center based solely on this information. The positive review suggests a knowledgeable and accommodating team that loves cats and communicates well with owners. However, the detailed negative reviews raise significant concerns about potential misdiagnosis, communication issues, a decline in professionalism and care, and inconsistent service for long-term clients.
Given the conflicting feedback, it is difficult to ascertain the current environment of Feline Health Center. The positive review hints at a cat-loving atmosphere with good communication. However, the negative reviews paint a picture of a potentially busy, less caring, and even rude environment, with staff who may not be consistently responsive or accommodating, particularly to long-standing clients.
Similarly, while the positive review suggests knowledgeable and accommodating service, the negative reviews imply potential issues with diagnostic accuracy, communication about a pet's condition, and overall professionalism in client interactions. It is likely that Feline Health Center offers standard veterinary services for cats, which typically include wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, dental care, diagnostic services, medical treatment, surgery, nutritional counseling, and potentially end-of-life care. However, the quality and reliability of these services appear to be a point of contention based on the provided feedback.
No specific promotional information is mentioned in the reviews. Therefore, it is advisable to contact Feline Health Center directly at (973) 285-5151 or +1 973-285-5151 to inquire about their current services, any unique features they may offer, and whether they have any ongoing promotions or new client specials. Given the concerns raised in the negative reviews, it would also be prudent to ask detailed questions about their diagnostic procedures, communication protocols, and approach to long-term client relationships.
In conclusion, the experiences of local cat owners with Feline Health Center in Morristown, NJ, appear to be mixed. While one recent review expresses satisfaction with the knowledgeable and accommodating staff and their love for cats, more detailed accounts from long-term clients raise serious concerns about potential misdiagnosis, declining professionalism, poor communication, and inconsistent service. Prospective clients should carefully consider these varied perspectives and conduct their own due diligence, including direct communication with the hospital, to determine if Feline Health Center meets their needs and expectations for the veterinary care of their feline companions.

Feb 25, 2025 · Jesska InnamoratoDr. Ratti is the most trusted feline veterinarian in the area! She is very knowledgeable and dedicated to help her patients.
Dec 18, 2024 · Polina Kuznetsova-NguyenI have mostly good things to say except one thing that was a true deal breaker! The vet is very helpful and exceptionally knowledgeable and the admin staff is also great, proactive, and efficient. However, our problem was that the handling techniques are aggressive and a bit outdated (like using scruffing as the go-to restraint tactic), and the tech was unwilling to adjust them to more modern fear-free techniques when I asked, and instead told us to just use even more sedation for visits. I have a very friendly cat who usually is calm at the vet, and unfortunately this is the only vets office I have ever seen her growl and yowl at. It is a great office otherwise, but I just couldn't watch my cat go through a literal wrestling match just to have her blood drawn one more time. It was consistently upsetting for both of us. We've since moved to an office that uses different techniques and she now takes needles with no complaints again while distracted by treats and only mild body pressure restraint that was tailored to her preferences (while still keeping the tech's safety in mind of course). In sum, decide what's best for you and your cat and if they're fine here that's great, but if not please consider that it might be because of the overly aggressive, "one approach fits all" method of handling here, and that vet med has come a long way and an angry/scared cat is not the norm or your only option anymore. Like I said, it's otherwise a great place and I was really disappointed that it didn't work out for us, but you know your cat best and are their only advocate, and that comes first.
Aug 11, 2023 · Pippa KokOur cat suffered from allergies since we had adopted her in 2020. We had taken her to numerous vets prior to the feline health center who treated her itching and wounds but not her allergies at the root. Once we took our cat to feline health center they were a knowledgeable, helpful, and had connections to a pharmacy that compounds medications (since our cat really wouldn’t take pills) and we finally have found a medication that is in a treat form that is helping our cats’ allergies. They worked with us to find a solution which no other vets had tried before.
