They are so gentle, patient and loving. They took their time with my very scared rescue dog. She was given time to warm up to each person who cared for her. Testing and treatment options were clearly explained to me. I highly recommend this office.

I found the staff friendly and personable. They were kind and willing to listen to my concerns. Reasonably priced and loves animals.

The worst vet I have ever been to. Falsely assumed my dog had a disease, instead of doing treatment or tests they just tried to prescribe drugs to not 1 but 2 dogs. Never emailed me copies of anything I asked for.

I recently had a wonderful experience at Family Veterinary Center on Battlefield Blvd in Chesapeake. My dog Apollo had an allergic reaction where his skin broke out, and I was extremely worried about his health. However, the staff at the clinic took amazing care of him and put my mind at ease. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly and welcoming staff who immediately attended to Apollo's needs. The veterinarian was very thorough in her examination and explained in detail what was happening to my dog and what needed to be done to treat him. She provided clear instructions on the medications and treatment plan, which was very helpful. The staff at the clinic were very gentle and caring towards my dog, which made the whole experience less stressful for him. They were very patient with me and answered all my questions, which helped me understand the situation better and gave me peace of mind. The clinic itself is very clean and well-maintained. It was evident that they take great care in providing a safe and comfortable environment for their patients. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the level of care and attention Apollo received at Family Veterinary Center. They went above and beyond to ensure that he received the best possible care and treatment. Absolutely just love them! They know my dogs & treat them as one of their own. Doc asks lots of questions as she evaluates your pet to make sure all is good with your furbaby. Normally suggests several courses of action that can be taken in treating issue. I love that she does this. Start with a simple cheaper solution to try & see if it works. If, not then we can do this, unless you want to do XYZ right away. I like that she doesnt push big expensive treatment as if that is the only way. The ladies at the front/assistants are rockstars! Cant say enough good things about Family Vet Center, DrJones & staff! Thank you for all you do & taking care of my Chewy & Whiskey...& me 😊
