Fairmont Pet Hospital Introduce
Welcome to Fairmont Pet Hospital, a dedicated Pet Hospital located at 824 Fairmont Pkwy in Pasadena, Texas. Serving the Pasadena community and surrounding areas, Fairmont Pet Hospital is committed to providing knowledgeable, compassionate, and reasonably priced veterinary care for your beloved animal companions. Understanding the vital role pets play in your lives, the team at Fairmont Pet Hospital strives to offer a welcoming and supportive environment, coupled with a commitment to the health and well-being of your furry, scaled, or feathered family members.
As a trusted Pet Hospital in Pasadena, Fairmont Pet Hospital has garnered positive feedback from local pet owners, highlighting several key aspects of their service. One recurring theme in the customer reviews is the perceived reasonableness of their prices. One thankful client stated, "Reasonable prices, the Vets here are knowledgeable, and have saved 2 of my dogs life’s (Different dogs, different issues)." This suggests that Fairmont Pet Hospital aims to provide quality veterinary care without imposing undue financial burden on pet owners, which is a significant consideration for many.
The knowledge and expertise of the veterinarians at Fairmont Pet Hospital are also consistently praised. The same reviewer specifically mentioned the vets being "knowledgeable" and credited them with saving the lives of two different dogs on separate occasions. This speaks to the skill, experience, and dedication of the veterinary team in accurately diagnosing and effectively treating a range of medical issues. Such testimonials build confidence in the medical capabilities of the hospital.
Fairmont Pet Hospital also appears to be accommodating to different scheduling needs. The first reviewer noted, "Yes, sometimes there’s a wait but nothing crazy, they allow you to waiting your car. Walk ins are welcomed, but they do prioritize patients with appointments." This indicates a flexible approach, welcoming walk-in patients while also ensuring that those with scheduled appointments are given priority. Allowing clients to wait in their cars can be a comfort, especially for pets who may be anxious in a waiting room setting or during times of heightened health concerns.
The second review provides a deeply moving account of end-of-life care, highlighting the exceptional compassion and understanding of the staff. While the circumstances were tragic, the reviewer's experience underscores the humane and empathetic approach of Fairmont Pet Hospital. "My 14 year old kitty Brooke passed away at this clinic yesterday. She was too far gone to save her. I want to thank everyone for their compassion and for being so nice and understanding. From the receptionist to the tech to the vet. And especially to the girl who was giving her oxygen and carried my baby to a private area where I could grieve in private." This level of sensitivity and support during such a difficult time speaks volumes about the caring culture at the hospital.
The reviewer further noted the transparency regarding costs, even in a situation where they were ultimately not charged. "The vet did tell me how much blood work and xrays were, which is nice to be told up front instead of getting sticker shock at check out..." This proactive communication about potential expenses, even when they were later waived due to the circumstances, demonstrates a commitment to honest and open communication with clients regarding financial aspects of care.
The fact that the owner was allowed to be present with their pet during the examination in her final moments is another testament to the compassionate policies of Fairmont Pet Hospital. "I was allowed to be in the room the whole time during the examination. I was grateful because it gave me time to be with her and pet her and baby talk her for the last minutes of her life." This thoughtful gesture provided comfort to both the pet and the owner during an incredibly emotional time.
Based on these heartfelt testimonials, the environment at Fairmont Pet Hospital is one of compassion, knowledge, and reasonable pricing. The staff is described as kind, understanding, and dedicated to providing the best possible care. The hospital appears to balance efficiency with empathy, accommodating walk-ins while prioritizing appointments and ensuring a comfortable experience for clients, even allowing them to wait in their cars if needed. The transparency regarding costs and the support provided during difficult times further enhance the positive image of this Pet Hospital.
While the specific list of all veterinary services offered by Fairmont Pet Hospital is not exhaustively detailed in the provided reviews, it is reasonable to infer that they provide a comprehensive range of general veterinary care. This typically includes routine wellness examinations, vaccinations, parasite prevention, diagnostic services (such as blood work and X-rays, as mentioned in one review), medical treatments for various illnesses, and potentially surgical procedures. The fact that their knowledgeable vets have successfully treated different issues in two different dogs suggests a broad scope of medical expertise.
Given the positive comments about their handling of an emergency and end-of-life care, it is also likely that Fairmont Pet Hospital is equipped to handle urgent medical situations and provides compassionate support during difficult times. However, whether they offer specialized services or have extended emergency hours beyond their regular schedule is not explicitly stated in the reviews.

Feb 19, 2025 · Maria HernandezMy 14 year old kitty Brooke passed away at this clinic yesterday. She was too far gone to save her. I want to thank everyone for their compassion and for being so nice and understanding. From the receptionist to the tech to the vet. And especially to the girl who was giving her oxygen and carried my baby to a private area where I could grieve in private. I was an absolute hysterical mess and I didn't get anyone's name, but they know who they are. I can't speak on pricing because I wasn't charged anything. Not even an office visit. The vet did tell me how much blood work and xrays were, which is nice to be told up front instead of getting sticker shock at check out, but once my girl was gone, I couldn't remember anything I was told. I was allowed to be in the room the whole time during the examination. I was grateful because it gave me time to be with her and pet her and baby talk her for the last minutes of her life.

Feb 22, 2023 · Gaby GarciaExcellent care and great pricing! Our rescue cocker spaniel has anxiety that we’ve been working on. The staff here has always gone above and beyond to be as gentle as possible with him!
Aug 03, 2024 · JennyWe took a foster in for a prolapsed anus. They stitched it and we came back to have the stitch removed in the allotted. Within hours the anus prolapsed again. It happened close to five, so we called. First the call was answered and then she hung up on me. I called back several times until somebody answered. I told her what happened and she told me it will have to wait till Monday. I’m at an emergency vet looking at a $2,256.10 bill to fix what they were supposed to already fix. This puppy is 8 weeks old and I’m probably going to have to put her down because somebody couldn’t take the time to fix their mistake. I understand it’s a business and you have personal lives and clock out times, but the first surgery was botched by you guys, and then I was told to keep an 8 week old puppies intestines hanging out until Monday. Wow. Whoever I talked to needs a new job.
