Contact can be made via phone at (518) 692-9636 or mobile at +1 518-692-9636. This establishment, deeply rooted in its community, appears to distinguish itself through the personal approach and expertise of its leading veterinarian, Dr. Peters, as highlighted by numerous client testimonials.

The environment at Excellence Plus Farms and Veterinarian Services, while not explicitly detailed in terms of physical aesthetics, can be inferred from the nature of the reviews. The mention of "Farms" in the name suggests that the practice may cater to both companion animals and potentially larger farm animals, which would require facilities suitable for a diverse range of species. This implies an environment that is practical, functional, and equipped to handle various animal sizes and medical needs. More importantly, the psychological environment created by Dr. Peters and his team is consistently lauded. Clients describe a place where they feel heard and educated, a refreshing change from clinics perceived as "cash collection machines." This suggests a calm, reassuring, and transparent atmosphere where the focus is genuinely on the animal's well-being and the owner's understanding. The enduring loyalty of clients, some of whom have known Dr. Peters for "over the 25 year period," and others who "drive the extra hour" for his services, speaks volumes about the welcoming and trustworthy environment cultivated at this "Pet Hospital."

The services provided by Excellence Plus Farms and Veterinarian Services encompass comprehensive veterinary care, tailored by Dr. Peters' approach. While specific service lists are not provided, the reviews indicate a broad spectrum of care for "dogs" and "many different pets." This would typically include routine wellness examinations, crucial for preventative health and early detection of issues. Vaccinations, essential for protecting pets from various diseases, would undoubtedly be a core offering. The emphasis on Dr. Peters' "expertise and honesty" suggests that diagnostic services, such as blood work, urinalysis, and potentially imaging, are performed judiciously and only when truly necessary. Surgical procedures, from routine spays and neuters to more complex soft tissue surgeries, are generally part of a comprehensive veterinary practice. The comments about avoiding "unnecessary tests and procedures" imply a thoughtful and ethical approach to treatment planning, which is a significant service differentiator. Given the "Farms" in the name, it's also plausible they offer ambulatory services or specialized care for livestock, extending their reach beyond typical small animal practice. The core service, however, seems to revolve around providing high-quality, honest, and client-centric veterinary medicine for all their animal patients.

The outstanding features of Excellence Plus Farms and Veterinarian Services are primarily embodied by Dr. Peters himself. His commitment to "educate and answer questions and concerns" is a recurrent theme, showcasing a dedication to client understanding and empowerment. This proactive approach to education helps pet owners make informed decisions without feeling pressured into unnecessary expenses. The descriptions of Dr. Peters as "the best veterinarian I've met," possessing "expertise and honesty," and being a "modern day James Herriott," paint a vivid picture of a practitioner who combines deep medical knowledge with genuine compassion and a practical, no-nonsense approach. In an industry where some clinics are perceived as profit-driven, the emphasis on being "straightforward and courteous" and not a "cash collection machine" highlights a significant value proposition. Clients value his integrity and the trust he builds. The longevity of client relationships, spanning decades, is a testament to the consistent quality of care and the strong rapport he establishes with both pets and their owners. This long-term relationship fosters a sense of familiarity and continuity of care that is highly valued by pet parents. The willingness of clients to travel an "extra hour" underscores the unique and highly desirable qualities of Dr. Peters' practice within the "Pet Hospital" landscape.

While explicit promotional information for Excellence Plus Farms and Veterinarian Services is not detailed in the provided text, their most powerful form of promotion appears to be through word-of-mouth referrals and the exceptional testimonials of their long-standing clients. In a world saturated with digital advertising, a reputation built on trust, honesty, and genuine care is invaluable. For a "Pet Hospital" like this, promotional activities would likely focus on reinforcing these core values. This could involve maintaining a simple, informative website that highlights their philosophy of care and the experience of Dr. Peters. Community engagement, perhaps through local events or partnerships, could also serve to introduce them to new residents. Given the emphasis on education, they might offer informal workshops or informational sessions on common pet health topics. However, the most effective promotion for Excellence Plus Farms and Veterinarian Services is clearly their consistent delivery of exceptional, ethical, and compassionate veterinary care, which turns satisfied clients into enthusiastic advocates. Future promotional messages would undoubtedly leverage client testimonials to underscore their unique approach, distinguishing themselves from practices perceived as being solely financially motivated. Emphasizing Dr. Peters' "James Herriott" style would resonate with many who appreciate a more traditional, holistic, and honest approach to animal medicine.

In conclusion, Excellence Plus Farms and Veterinarian Services, functioning as a distinctive "Pet Hospital" in Greenwich, NY, stands out primarily due to the character and expertise of Dr. Peters. The environment fosters trust and education, moving away from a purely transactional model of veterinary care. Their services cover a wide range of animal health needs, delivered with honesty and a focus on essential, necessary treatments. The key features are Dr. Peters' deep knowledge, his commitment to educating clients, his straightforward and courteous manner, and the resulting long-term relationships and loyalty from pet owners who appreciate a truly compassionate and ethical approach to animal medicine. Their most significant promotion is their unwavering reputation, built on decades of dedicated service within the community.

We have had many different pets cared for by Doc Peters over the 25 year period we have known him. He has always been straightforward and courteous in a day and age when every single other "veterinary clinic" we have dealt with seems like a cash collection machine. They all seem to be competing to do as little as they possibly can while lining their pockets with all kinds of money for (what often end up being) unnecessary tests and procedures. Doc Peters is a modern day James Herriott. We love him!

Ron Peter's should not be allowed to have a license to be a vet. He told me that my dog had a pancreatic rumor that ruptured and the prognosis was grim. He said we would have to leave him there over night and if he made it then maybe he would do exploratory surgery the next day. Well the next day came and he never called. So I went there. The secretary told me that I couldn't see my dog bc the vet wasn't there....well I went in anyways...my dog way lying very ill on the floor next to the running dryer and the room was what felt like 90degrees. I told him I was taking my dog bc if he was going to die he was going to die at home. I immediately took him to another vet who quickly performed a chest X-ray and found my dog to have bloat. Bloat is what can happen to large dogs stomach and cause the intestines to twist and die off and therefore the dog dies...they performed a 4 hour surgery and my dog lived. Had a I left my dog at Ron Peter's he would've have undoubtedly died next to a running dryer alone with no family....He is cruel and unprofessional to say the least. He had no idea what was wrong with my dog but yet he diagnosed and gave a grim prognosis anyway....which was wrong.

Ron Peters has always been my vet for over 20 years for all my dogs including 2 pitbulls.Ron has answered my calls at 11 o'clock at night when I have had an emergency and took my animals in immediatly.he's even made a housecall when my husky was to sick to get her there. Ron has been an excellent vet to all my animals Especially my pitbull Jade who has had a lot of emergency visits in her younger years.

This guy should not be allowed to work with animals at all... He is abusive towards animals.. Quick tempered... It amazes me that he even has a licence to practice! I would NEVER bring my pet there! If you value your pet, and concider them family do not bring them here! I hope he looses his licence!
