Dr. Burton has been the greatest with our fur babies! Knowledgeable, experienced and some of the best prices we’ve had with vets. I love that he lays it all out for you and it never feels like he’s trying to push into doing too much/more than you need. His honestly and obvious love for your animals makes him one of a kind and a breath of fresh air.

Best vet ever. Unfortunately they are not accepting new clients; and haven’t for years but I have the honor of being able to go here. My family has been going to this vet forever and there’s simply no one better. The staff is courteous and hard working, and the DVM/vet himself is kind compassion and knowledgeable. I will go here for as long as they are in business.

Dr. Burton is very knowledgeable, friendly and detail oriented. When you take your pet to him, you can tell he really cares, that he enjoys his job and he is a genuinely good person. I can't recommend him and is team enough. I know Lucky is in good hands every time I take him there.

I absolutely love and adore this Vet Clinic. Dr.Burton is an exceptional veterinarian. My 16 year old Yorkie (Romeo) has been going to him and this clinic for about 13 or more years. My sister in law had my dog for a while because I couldn’t have him and she took him here and when I got him back I continued to take him here and I’m so glad I did. Everytime I bring him in for something I’m so worried and stressed out but Dr.Burton has a way of making you feel calm and the way he handles my old man is so comforting. He respects them, genuinely cares for them and you can totally tell that this is his passion, to treat and take care of animals. I trust him so much with my little man. I just recently got a new 10 week old Yorkie named King, that I brought in for his first exam. They were booked out a week for exams but once my puppy was showing signs of being sick I called them to tell them about the symptoms he was having and they literally got him in the next morning. If it was an emergency they would have got him in that day but I felt that it wasn’t that big of an emergency. They were really careful and cautious of him incase he was contagious which is very comforting to know that they take careful measures to ensure the wellbeing of other animals. When we went into the exam room we were greeted with a goody bag for King and they even made him a little name tag and put a chew toy of a crown in the bag which I thought was so so thoughtful and sweet of them to do. EVERY single staff is absolutely amazing, kind and so sweet. I just love and adore this clinic so much! I will continue to take both my boys there until they close down or my boys pass away and if I get more I will continue to use this clinic and Dr.Burton. He is so informative, thorough and gentle. I recommend 10/10. Thank you evergreen animal hospital for being such a phenomenal vet clinic that I trust 1000%!! Below is a pic of my 16 year old Romeo and a pic of King at the Vet with his goody bag!

After being a client here for 15 years we were let down when we really needed Dr Burton's help. Our dog was very ill and we accepted this as he was 17 years old. Dr Burton did the exam and then he disappeared and let the techs finish without giving us any treatment plan or telling us if he found anything on the exam. We thought he would be coming back into the room but he never did. When we checked out we were told they gave our dog some pepto bismol but they didn’t tell us if we should give him some, the dose or how frequently-I had to ask. We are medical professionals but have no way of treating animals or knowing what to give our dog. We had a bunch of tests done and we were notified of the results by the techs and they sent us copies. One of the techs was great, very compassionate and diligent but our feeling is that Dr Burton delegates way too much to his techs. We weren’t sure if they did a urinalysis and what those results may have been. There was a note in the lab report that a urinalysis wasn’t received. Not sure if that was supposed to be included and if we paid for this and they forgot to collect and send a sample. It was clear to us that our dogs kidney failure progressed since having testing done just a few months prior. We had several questions and we were told Dr Burton wanted to consult with us. We were given the option of going in person to talk to Dr Burton or to talk to him on the phone. Since our dog was ill we didn't want to leave him home alone nor drive him down there, we opted for a phone call. They set up a call for Friday. They chose the date and time. Since it was getting late in the afternoon on Friday, I called the office and asked if he had forgotten about us. The receptionist told me she couldn't reach him because he wasn't in the office and that he would remember to call. Dr Burton never called. Our dog suffered during the weekend when he could have been given something to alleviate his nausea and vomiting before he died on Monday when he had to be euthanized! After opting for home euthanasia I also realized how much our other dog suffered when he was euthanized by Dr. Burton a few years ago. He let out a huge groan as he died. I suspect Dr Burton rushed giving the medicine to stop his heart and not waiting for the tranquilizer to take effect. When we had our current dog euthanized at home by another vet it was peaceful. Dr Burton is fine for routine immunizations and he knows his stuff but he doesn’t follow up properly and never presents a treatment plan. Why bother testing for things and then not doing anything with the information! We are beyond disappointed. Having an established rapport or relationship with Dr Burton will guarantee you nothing.
