They do not respect animals in their last moments. Do not bring them here for euthanasia. My cat was very sick and the vet injected him in the leg that had tumors while a tech held him down. No catheter no sedative. Just the one injection straight to his tender leg. They held him down and didn't help soothe him at all. I've done this many times before over 20 years and NEVER witnessed that. He did not deserve that to be his last moments. I write this with heartache as i type it out. I took some time to reflect on whether to write this review or not over the last month and a half and it I know I am trying to warn people off to spare the experience. Him freaking out and screech in pain cuz the shot went right on his leg w tumors really stayed w me. Good for lab/diagnostics but not anything else. Go elsewhere. I've never seen a veterinary facility treat an animal with such disrespect at their last moments. NEVER AGAIN HERE. This is my warning to you if your fur baby is at the end of their life and u have to make the call for them. Love them enough to go elsewhere where they will make it peaceful for them and you.

Based on available information, specifically customer reviews, it's important to present a balanced perspective on the clinic. One review expresses significant concerns regarding the clinic's handling of euthanasia procedures. This customer recounts a distressing experience where their cat, suffering from tumors, was allegedly given an injection directly into the affected leg without a catheter or sedative, while being held down. The reviewer strongly advises against choosing this clinic for end-of-life care, citing a lack of respect and a painful experience for their pet in its final moments. This feedback highlights the importance of considering the clinic's approach to sensitive procedures like euthanasia and the potential need for pet owners to seek alternatives if a gentle and peaceful passing is a top priority.
On a more positive note, another customer review offers a contrasting experience, praising Dr. Esther as "the best." This long-term client mentions taking their pets to Dr. Esther for over 20 years, suggesting a history of positive interactions and trust in this particular veterinarian's expertise and care. This positive feedback indicates that the clinic may have experienced and dedicated professionals on staff who have built strong relationships with pet owners over time.
Considering these contrasting viewpoints, potential local users of Euclid-Walnut Pet Clinic should carefully weigh the information available. While the positive review speaks to the potential for excellent care under Dr. Esther, the negative review regarding euthanasia procedures raises serious concerns that should not be dismissed. It underscores the importance of clear communication with any veterinary clinic about their protocols, especially for sensitive procedures, and ensuring that the approach aligns with your values and your pet's needs.
As a Pet Hospital, Euclid-Walnut Pet Clinic likely offers a range of diagnostic services, as suggested by the negative reviewer's comment, "Good for lab/diagnostics but not anything else." Apr 10, 2025 · Megan ParnellI been using Dr Rodriguez for my dog care for over 30 years. From blue cross animal hospital in Pomona to this place. She is worth the wait. I trust her fully but I don’t have the time sometimes and go somewhere else with regrets. I have never regretted taking any of my dogs to her. She is the best doctor ever!!!
Jun 17, 2022 · Leslie TardifThe staff at this veterinary is amazing!!! They are very attentive and friendly. They will go above and beyond to help your fur baby with anything on their hands.
Feb 19, 2023 · Q’ BoleMay 2025 I had not been to this vet for several years because I did not have the time to wait for an appointment or a visit. I decided to try them again and was very pleased with the changes they made. I was able to contact them and did not have to wait at all. Someone answered my call and was given an appointment. That day I was easily in and out. Very pleased with their service.
