I recently made a tough decision to say goodbye to my lifelong friend. He was 31 and a TB and absolutely thrived under Dr.Chadim and EIMs care. From preventative to emergency to diagnostic and end of life everyone at EIM was there for us and I never felt like we were on different pages, even when my boy went through difficult times. I will forever be grateful for the years they were a part of our team.

Mar 14, 2025 · L CThere is medicine for profit and there is medicine for care. This team of vets is full care. From Dr Chadim bringing critical thinking and the newest research; to Dr Howard’s body work wizard hands, you can’t find a more knowledgeable and caring team. I watched this team work at multiple barns before making the switch, and I couldn’t be happier with my choice. My mare, while very sweet and never offering any behavioral struggles, does keep us on our toes with her allergies. The way this team has not only addressed the issue in person, but clearly, left and continued to brainstorm on it, has me feeling support like I haven’t before. And it continues with my clients that I have referred to them. Once your horse is under their care, they truly care and bring science and knowledge to back it up.
Jan 16, 2025 · Hear the HerdI appreciate acknowledgement by the clinic of the negative experience had. August 6th, I gave my residential & barn address, email & phone number to an individual at the front desk, attempting to set up an appointment. I was asked if the horse needed injections where I stated not currently & requested to make a new client exam as well as the horse needed a refill on a prescription originally given by Dr. Chadim. Being told Dr. Chadim would phone me later that day. The clinic called me back a couple days later, but I scheduled elsewhere based on my horse's needs & availability. I agree that a common misconception is that whoever owns a horse has the right to their records, however, in this scenario the third-party individual that was granted access to all of the information on the evaluated horse by the individual providing payment for the exam. This individual made clear to all those attending the appointment that this was the case via phone. If there was a different understanding, I would recommend connecting with the individual providing payment for clarification on any miscommunications with the clinic. As I am no longer the owner of the horse that was evaluated & have not been trying to obtain any records since the first days of Jan. 2025 I appreciate this clinic shedding light on the mental health issues experienced by veterinarians. While I am not here to minimize the experiences equine doctors go through, I believe it is crucial to acknowledge many others in & out of the equine industry experience mental health challenges as well such as, small animal vets, vet techs, grooms, stable hands, office managers, etc. As a DVM in the equine industry, a role model to many young & aspiring vet students large or small, it is imperative that a good example of treatment of clients & those who support veterinarians as a whole always be in mind to prevent these situations from occurring and diminishing our equine industry. Let's make this community a welcoming, honest & positive place that others wish to be a part of. Thanks! Since there is no option to select zero stars: Dr. Chadim is unethical, unwelcoming, disorganized & refused to give information in the quality-of-life exam. Questioning ownership of an older horse being examined. Dr. Chadim stated during the ultrasound portion of the exam "you do not have the right to this information, we are allowing you to be here" after I had asked for a picture of an ultrasound image. Even after I was granted access to all information. As well as back in August 2024 I had called this office to give my information as the new owner, which was the same month I bought the horse. Dr. Chadim was unable to give me a location of any injury yet stated multiple times there are "many anomalies". Her "innovative" approach resulted in the use of more steroids with no other treatment suggestions made other than considering a rehab facility. Dr. Chadim then did flexions on my horse, where he appeared lame, refusing to even walk off at a certain point. Using excuses such as he's tripping too much, it's behavioral or he may be too drugged. Dr. Chadim refused to lunge him on hard ground in a circle when offered with no explanation or reasoning. As an involved horse owner & previous equine veterinary technician these are all red flags. Dr. Chadim left the property with no clear options for my horse, as she talked in circles about riding the older horse once again & bringing him back into full flatwork when I had stated I wanted him pasture comfortable. Dr. Chadim was asked to leave after making uncalled for comments, however, did not leave the barn when asked. After this appointment I spoke to many others in the surrounding horse community, it is clear there have been many negative experiences with Dr. Chadim. I cannot speak on Dr. Howard; however, I've been recommended not to use this vet clinic if you're looking for the most ethical approach to horse care. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism & honesty shown by this DVM.
Mar 03, 2025 · Hannah SteitzerJodi has been a vet for some horses at the stables at Magnolia Ridge and watching her work and be very calm and knowledgeable with the horses and even answering questions any clients had was truly helpful. Jodi always has the best interest for the horse every time and never does anything to the horse that would purposely put them in jeopardy. I have watched her veterinary exams of other horses and she has always been extremely professional and innovative in her work.
Jan 16, 2025 · Lindsey EllisDr. Chadim and Dr. Howard are two of the best people I’ve met in the horse industry. Dr. Chadim is an amazing diagnostician, although she would never be one to brag. And when there are no traditional options, she is willing to look deeper and find new ways to help your horse. She has changed our lives as owners, and renewed our sense of purpose with a horse that may never have had a chance at life without her. Dr. Howard is a very kind person, and never shies away from explaining to an owner what she’s doing. We’ve learned numerous things to do as upkeep in between our chiropractic appointments. She’s so good, we book her services as a treat for our ponies! Finally, everyone that works in the office and in the field with these two is equally amazing. It takes a special person to help horses in pain, and humans that are afraid, and every one here has done it. Thank you all for your help, and we look forward to your continued partnership.
