Kind, intelligent, patient, accommodating and humorous. Dr. Wilhelm and staff were so gracious and welcoming when I had an emergency with my dog. No other vet, including my own regular vet, would see my dog. My dog and myself were greeted with such concern and compassion. The facility is gorgeous and Dr. Wilhelm is extremely knowledgeable. I am very fortunate to have come across a practice like Endicott Animal Hospital and I will continue to take all my animals here. Thank you.

Feb 27, 2025 · R PThis is my first review ever. They got my elder dog in immediately with no appointment and checked her out efficiently. The cost was fair and reasonable for an emergency visit and they were able to ease my concerns and do only what was necessary without doing any unnecessary testing.
May 08, 2025 · AndrewThese people don't really give a shit about your pets. Money comes first. They wouldn't even try and help me figure out what I can do with my sick dawg. They made it clear that I needed to pay $110 for the visit and then there was other fees as well. I said look my dog is dying and I'm from Florida and don't know anywhere I'm not from here. We can't help you if you don't pay is all the lady said. Didn't care about the little dog at all. I was floored. This is a business was the other part of the conversation. Sometimes people are in the wrong business. I cannot believe Endicott Animal Hospital. I hope nobody else goes through what I did tonight. My little dog might not make it through Tonite. How can someone turn away an animal who needs them. I don't get it. I could never do that ...no no no way. This was my experience
Mar 16, 2025 · James CaryUnfortunately our cat needed to be put down on Thursday evening and he went downhill very quickly, resulting in my needing to urgently call around to find a vet who was able to help us so that he would not suffer. Our vet did not have someone available, either did the Cat Doctor and they suggested that I try here. I called and the receptionist proceeded to lecture me on how it is not "worth the risk to the doctor's license" to put my cat down if I could not produce his rabies certificate. If that's the policy, or the law, that is entirely understandable (which I stated several times during this call). I in no way attempted to argue with her, but she felt the need to continue to tell me that she "knows it's harsh but it's simply not worth the risk." I was literally calling to have my animal put to sleep - if you are unable to help, that is completely okay and I was happy to continue to call and find someone who was able to. It was absolutely unnecessary to literally lecture me, in a condescending tone, when I said okay several times and was nearly in tears because I was trying to find someone to put my pet down so he did not need to struggle through the night. Please have some compassion - rules are rules, and that is absolutely understandable - but be better when you're speaking to people about euthanasia.
Dec 16, 2024 · Kate DraderThe reception is very kind and helpful. My lab loved the dog treat they gave him while waiting. The vet is stern, knowledgeable and direct which I appreciate!
