A couple of weeks ago I brought my cat in with concerns of him having a urinary blockage. Upon arriving they immediately took him back to check. They told me it would be a $450 deposit so I was expecting it to be a pretty expensive bill, but my fur baby is worth it. They examined him and luckily there was no blockage. We waited about an hour and a half to be seen by the vet. That was no problem at all, given the circumstances of others needing immediate care, etc. The vet came in and examined my cat again. I told her I was hesitate about pricing due to it being an emergency clinic and if it wasn’t anything life threatening I’d rather wait so that I don’t waste their time for the true emergency cases. She recommended that I do an x-ray for my peace of mind just to ensure nothing was going on. She told me it would be around $120. After having the x-ray done, the vet tech came in and told me that there were thankfully no issues and the scans looked normal. She then told me “you’re good to go”. Confused, I figured I’d be going up to the front to pay and check out. Again she said “no, you’re free to go”. I was absolutely shocked that this clinic provided services for my cat and did not feel the need to charge me at all. I’m so grateful for everyone at this clinic! I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews. I can only assume it’s people who have made this clinic put up signs asking for kindness. Having worked in the vet and animal field myself, I know it is not for the faint hearted. Our pets are our family and this staff truly does take that into consideration. Be kind. Is the wait long? Maybe, but they are the ONLY emergency after hours vet in the area. Be mindful of this and give them some grace. I will be recommending them to anyone and everyone I possibly can. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for taking care of my fur child, Bugs.

Feb 24, 2025 · AimeeThey got us in unless than 5 minutes and took excellent care of my cat. He had a urinary blockage which is a critical condition. They kept him two days and called me twice a day with updates. Great facility.
May 01, 2025 · Belinda RogersI was nervous to bring my dog here because 1) some not-so-good reviews and 2) the cost (to be honest). I’m really glad I came though. It was $100 just to be seen (which is to be expected). I was lucky and got in immediately because no one else was here. They gave me a quote before performing any procedures on my dog, and I was able to opt out of some of the services they didn’t feel that were mandatory but were just recommended. I thought that was nice.. I didn’t feel like they were just out for my money. Everyone was kind and my vet was exceptionally nice. We saw Dr. Toner. I’ve had friends bring their dogs here and they’ve never had anything bad to say. Overall, I am glad I came even though it was pricey. To be honest, some regular vets charge $50-70 just to be seen so the prices weren’t that crazy to me. I would definitely bring my dog back if I needed to.
Feb 23, 2025 · Caity DillardThey did not help my baby boy. They was to worried about me filling out paperwork and paying then trying to save his life it was $450 just to put an IV in him to make him stable. Then proceeded to lie about his % chance of living he had a higher chance then what they told me because I didn’t have the 5,000 dollars there in pocket with me. I would not go back to take any of my fur babies his life was taken way to soon and then lying about it, he would still be here if they had enough light about his chance of living 0 stars for me be aware people please protect your fur baby
Dec 21, 2024 · Madison HardestyI am SO grateful to have a 24 hour emergency vet clinic supporting SW Missouri. If not for them being open on weekends, I doubt my dog would’ve made it to Monday. My dog has had these severe stomach flare ups multiple times in her life that have required ER visits. They’ve always helped the symptoms, but never could tell us why. This vet clinic not only saved my girl, but also diagnosed her with pancreatitis and told us how to help prevent it. I know there’s bad reviews and I was worried too, but after skimming I’ve summed it up for you: 1) People complaining about price: all vets are expensive, but you HAVE to expect it to be more expensive for an ER visit. To keep a facility and employees running 24/7 there just has to be a convenience fee. This is the only 24 hour facility in SW Missouri and we NEED it so I wish people would stop complaining about something so necessary. 2) People complaining when euthanasia is recommended: it’s something no one wants to hear for their pets and it just sucks. I think people in the reviews are just lashing out because they are upset and grieving or don’t want to accept when it’s time to let their babies rest. 3) People complaining about wait times: human hospitals have wait times. Get over it. This clinic saved my beloved Holly. I am so grateful to the doctor and all the friendly staff. Thank you for helping us and thank you for having a 24 hour clinic!
