I took my dog to this clinic, trusting they would provide the care he needed. When we arrived, he was stable, but within 10 minutes, the doctor informed me that he didn’t have much time left and suggested euthanasia. I was devastated and refused their suggestion, choosing to take my dog back home. When we got home, I discovered something shocking and heartbreaking: part of his left pupil had been cut, and there were tears of skin on both of his legs. I cannot comprehend how such injuries occurred while he was in their care. The lack of compassion and professionalism is appalling, and no pet owner should have to endure what I went through. Additionally, the clinic’s overall service is extremely poor. They often make you wait for hours, only to deliver substandard and, in this case, harmful care. I would never recommend this place to anyone who truly cares for their pets. Please, take your beloved animals elsewhere where they will be treated with the dignity and care they deserve.

I cannot celebrate the EVCC team enough. Front desk, nurses, and Dr. Ballard all made sure we were comfortable and informed. This was my first time needing an emergency overnight stay. I found their billing statement to be fair. They came in at the low end of my evaluation estimate. Care Credit is accepted over 6 months deferred interest.

The wait time wasn't too bad, given my dog was stable and not in critical condition. Once I got in to see the vet, things went very quickly and my girl got X-rays, diagnosis and treatment with swiftness! More importantly the staff was so kind and thorough. They brought Shiva a blanket to lie down on and gave her a lot of love! I most appreciate that they kept me updated on everything, every step of the way, from wait time to treatment. The vet was AMAZING…professional and caring.

I'm so thankful for EVCC being available in Mishawaka. This is the first time I've been there with my pet and received excellent care. With a poison case, time is of the essence, and they handled things quickly. I appreciate how kind and informative everyone was. They took great care of my girl!

My girl almost died. I knew my dog wasn’t right because she was acting so unusual. I made the call to bring her here. First off, let me say, you will be waiting. These folks are doing the best they can. It’s an emergency hospital. Just like for humans. If your pet isn’t actively bleeding out or exhibiting life threatening symptoms, you will be waiting. I think I arrived at 9pm and left at 2am. I didn’t care because I only cared about my dog. They determined through diagnostics that she had a linear foreign object that caused her intestines to bunch up. Surgery was necessary. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough for the down payment but they gave her supportive care which included some meds and a bolus of fluid, which actually helped push the object to a more viable spot. I took her home and brought her back with the down payment. They took her immediately and started getting everything ready for surgery. The staff kept in touch with me throughout the whole process and they are incredible and caring! I dropped her off at 11am Tuesday and she was home by noon on Wednesday! Thank you so much Dr. Goodman, Dr. Teschlow and Dr. Seng, as well as all of the veterinary techs. You saved Maggie’s life and my family could not be more grateful. I recommend this hospital to any and everyone!
