Elpaw Veterinary Clinic

I found Elpaw Veterinary Clinic when Samoa needed to be seen by a specialist, who would meet us at a local clinic for her appointment. Following her appointment with the internist, I immediately switched Samoa's care from her previous veterinarian to Elpaw's care. They were exceptionally communicative, kind, and I am confident in the high standard of medical care they provide. Elpaw's Drs and staff did everything they could to support Samoa and our family in taking care of her! Dropping off my 14yo dog for her anesthetized procedure was relieving, not nerve-wracking, because I knew she was in good hands. Looking forward to future visits with their team! Bonus ⭐️: As a veterinary professional, I would not take my pets to just any clinic. Samoa needed care my employers couldn't provide, so finding somewhere new to take her, where she would not be my patient was scary! I was picky, asked annoying technical questions, and asked for flexibility - Elpaw took all of that in stride. I cannot thank this clinic, staff, and Dr. Pearce enough, they all went above and beyond.

Update: Initially gave them 5 stars but had to give them 2 after the doctor was rude. I called weeks ago because my new puppy was peeing blood. They recommended that I take her to urgent care which was a $400 bill. She improved after taking the prescribed medicine by the Urgent care doctor. However, a few days later the frequency and blood returned so I called El Paw. The secretary (who was very nice) told me that she would call for the records from the Urgent Care (which I had already sent to El Paw a week ago) and a doctor would call me. At no point did she say “in 24 hours”. So I called the next day (today) and the doctor, who did not state her name but I know it wasn’t Dr. Pearce, answered instead of the secretary. I started explaining that I was supposed to hear from the doctor and she replied “Yes i’m the doctor, you have to give us 24 hours” and continued to talk. As I said before at no point was I told that the doctor would give me a call in 24 hours so how was I supposed to know this? It took me aback because I usually never have a problem and they are usually very nice, and willing to explain things. If this is how a doctor is willing to respond to a person concerned about their pet then this isn’t the vet for me. I will be taking my 3 dogs to another vet after this issue with my puppy is resolved. Initial Review: New to the state and needed my puppy spayed. They were able to get me in for an initial pre op appointment quickly and she had the procedure two weeks later. The price breakdown was accurate and reasonable. The doctor and staff were very professional and friendly. The clinic is very nice and clean. After her procedure, the doctor called me with updates which I was very grateful for. I decided to make Dr. Pearce my official vet for both of my dogs (I brought my male dog in for his yearly check up when I brought my female dog in for her post op appointment). I would definitely recommend. Prices are very reasonable!

Caring and capable. They really help assuage any anxiety surrounding those visits to the vet. Their pre-visit protocols, by text, voice call, and email, are extremely helpful and always courteous. We never "paws" to trust that our clowder of cats is in good hands at Elpaw Veterinary Clinic. Be sure to say hi to Dr Yungk for us.

Started to come here after my vet of several decades retired. I really like Dr Yungk. She's sharp and communicating with her is easy. Her staff is friendly and helpful. There can be a lag in getting routine appointments; true for most vets now, but was able to get squeezed in for acute but minor issues..Very happy with the care we are receiving .

I have brought my childhood dog here and my current pup here. Always a good experience . My current dog is super squirmy and so sensitive and I have never felt like they are annoyed with him. They get everything done and educate you on anything you have questions on but no pressure on anything. I will continue to drive down here from Maryland to see Dr.Pearce. Thank you for loving my dogs
