This place was so welcoming and helpful! Took my cat Figgy after vet taught he might have a heart problem. We were devastated and Echo Vet Cardio was the only place with appointments. The staff and Dr SeungWoo Jung were so kind.We were sad and Dr SeungWoo Jung was very comforting. He lets us know that Figgy did not have a heart problem but kindly said Figgy was overweight. Figgy is doing great and on a diet!

The doctor and staff are excellent here! We drove over 2 hours to get here for our 13 year old dog Pumpkin and it was very worth it. Dr Jung was professional, kind and offered an articulate and easy to understand explanation of what was going on with Pumpkin and the best course of action for her condition. Additionally, Pumpkins nurse was super sweet, comforting and personable. Not only was the staff amazing, but our appointment was on time and everything was expedient. We will definitely be taking our other dogs here when they need a cardiologist services. We highly recommend this doctors office!

I regret not paying closer attention to the one-star review. Here's my experience: At the beginning of the year, my toy poodle began suffering from strokes. After months of visiting various vets and emergency clinics, we finally discovered the cause and a treatment plan that seemed to help. Our vet prescribed medication, which made a difference, but also referred us to Echo Vet Cardio for a more in-depth assessment of my dog's heart condition. After some time weighing the decision, I scheduled an appointment. During the exam, Dr. Jung gave us a hopeful prognosis, estimating a life expectancy of 2+ years. He noted there was no fluid in my dog’s lungs and recommended discontinuing the Furosemide due to elevated levels of a specific marker in her bloodwork. Following his advice, we stopped the medication for water in the lungs, but, continued the second medication for the strokes. Tragically, within a week, my dog's condition worsened. By Friday, 9/20, her respiratory issues became critical. That day, I called Echo Vet Cardio seeking urgent help. Instead of assistance, I was met with indifference. Aram, the staff member on the phone, seemed more interested in ending the call because it was late on a Friday and the doctor was unavailable. He told me to continue tracking my dog’s breathing patterns, even though her respiratory rate was alarmingly high, and promised to follow up on Monday. He never did. When I called back the next day, Aram acted like he didn’t even know who we were, reading my dog's symptoms off the computer as if hearing them for the first time. It was a heartbreaking and frustrating experience. Ultimately, due to the advice given and the negligence of the staff, we lost our beloved dog shortly after. For anyone who truly cares about their pet, I urge you to explore other options. Please take all reviews seriously, both good and bad—this clinic's lack of care and compassion could cost you your pet's life. P.s I’ve attached a few photos of my deceased pet to further support our claim and the place we took our pet to be euthanized sent us a heartwarming card by mail, which honestly just highlights how indifferent and careless Echo Vet Cardio was—because it took complete strangers, in our darkest moment, to show the empathy and compassion that this so-called "specialist" clinic never bothered to give. UPDATE 9/28: As consumers of California, we hold the legal right to file a complaint through the Department of Consumer Affairs, specifically the Veterinary Medical Board. If you had a negative experience at Echo Vet Cardio, I urge you to head over to vmb.ca.gov and file a complaint. You also have the option to remain anonymous. Dr. Seungwoo Jung's license number is: 23649 UPDATE 10/24: About an hour ago, Dr. Jung responded to my review. I went ahead and responded via a word document which I attached to my other two photos. I was not able to add everything to my original review due to a character limit.. Additionally, the Veterinary Medical Board has yet to conclude their investigation.

This has to be the best pet/vet experience we've ever had and we have 4 animals for more than a decade. Dr.jung is outstanding. Po was diagnosed by our local vet with heart disease and was recommend at least two drugs daily. I wasn't having any of it and walked out. I went to the internet, google, reddit and Facebook - couldn't say enough good things about Dr.jung and his team. We are 3 hours away from his team and spent about 8 hours total driving to get to him. We were expecting the worst since making the appointment and coming down to socal. Dr.Jung and his team looked over X-rays, took a ton more information than they needed and ran an echo on Po's heart. Dr.jung came into the office and told us something that I would have never expected. I had to get up out of my seat, had trouble understanding the news he was telling us. We live at high elevation, think top of big bear climate. Turns out that Po has high blood pressure and being on top of the mountain isn't great for his heart. Needless to say he recommended blood pressure meds and to call back if they didn't work. We're on day two and Po is wagging his tail and acting like a puppy again at 11 years old. All his symptoms are gone. Dr.jung got it right when our local vet didn't. I would go to dr.jung for any related heart problems in the future. He knows what he is doing and tells it to you straight. Can't be more over the moon right now knowing po is in good shape. If your vet said your animal has heart related problems it's worth getting a second opinion from Dr.Jung. He knows his stuff and can't be more thankful for his staff and clinic. If they do indeed have heart related illnesses/disease I'm confident their team will make a plan to get your pet back on track.

This office in Tustin is wonderful. Starting with Abe setting up the appointment, calling to let me know there was an earlier opening to get my Mia in for her appointment, to Aram the tech who was the nicest, sweetest person and showed so much of that to my Mia as well as explaining what was going to happen with the test, etc. , and last Dr. Jung was wonderful as well. He explained everything to me about her echocardiogram in detail. This is the best explanation I have ever received from any doctor, veterinary, or people doctor. I felt so relieved knowing exactly what was going on with my Mia and that we could help her. I will definitely return to the office and would recommend them highly!
