I cant even describe the feeling of this place in words. They are SO caring and helpful. They answer any and all questions that I have with no hesitation and they are very reassuring. All the staff are just wonderful and I am so thankful for every single one of them. I would definitely recommend this vet clinic over any other.

Took my older diabetic cat in to get treatment for his diabetes. I was told that I will get information on feline diabetes, that never happened! Why couldn’t Dr. Frank tell me, directly to my face while in the office speaking to her, that the nerve damage caused by diabetes would also affect my cat’s digestive system and would cause motility issues of the gut causing extreme vomiting? I was bring my cat to do a day long blood sugar work up and had to cancel due to family needs. Then tried to reschedule this. With my cat’s deteriorating health they refused and just said to come in for a blood draw to check bloodwork. When I gave them an updated as to what was happening with his health and the measures I took THEY canceled the appointment. I said I want to keep the appointment to get some subcutaneous fluids in him and then THEY changed the appointment to one I couldn’t make it to on purpose after I explained my work schedule. I was more than willing to do what they recommended but they withheld information that would have helped know why this had to be done in a particular way. Then they proceeded to give some excuse that their vet techs can’t give subcutaneous fluids. Now why would a vet tech not be able to give subcutaneous fluids? They go to school for extensive training which includes this and more. So this may be getting back at the client for canceling a big money making appointment. Seems that when you have an older pet and you make decisions on your own they are more than happy to turn their backs on you. I have read many of the other reviews about clients with older pets and it’s a similar case as a dying animal will not make them money. I have cancelled all other appointments with these people and do not recommend if you have an older pet. If I could give no stars I would .

We took our Parakeet Morticia to Eau Claire Animal Hospital because it was the only vet we could find that would see birds. What a prize we stumbled upon. We ended up having to put our sweet bird down but Dr Mather was amazing. She explained exactly what was going on with Morticia and the pros and cons of trying to treat her. She was very sympathetic when we decided not to put Tish through any more. We chose to have Morticia cremated and we got a beautiful box, footprints and a little vial with feathers returned to us. We also received a nice note in the mail and footprints from Dr Mather. It meant so much to us.

We have taken our dog here since we got her a few years ago she is now 16 years old. We took her in for her annual visit and I had a few questions about her teeth and a few other items. After looking at her teeth they told us that we should do surgery and get a lot of them removed. She already had dental surgery last year to remove several teeth. I felt shamed for our dog not having good dental health even though she was 13 when we got her and she has always had bad teeth. I didn’t get to ask the rest of my questions and felt like we were rushed out. We got a second opinion and that vet said it would be too dangerous to put her under and not worth the risk if her teeth didn’t cause her pain. We also have boarded our dog here several times thinking that if anything were to go wrong at least she would be at the animal hospital surrounded by professionals. When I was dropping my dog off I paid for enough nights to pick her up on Saturday afternoon because I was not sure we would make it back before the clinic closed at noon. Knowing that we could still pick up at the 4-4:30 pickup time. We arrived at 4:05 and no one was there. We knocked on the doors and called several times but it goes straight to voicemail. Finally I messaged them on Facebook and someone came at 4:45 to let us pick up our dog. I was unimpressed that no one checked that they had a dog that was being picked up today and that no one was even at the clinic to care for the boarded dogs.

Picking the right vet is so important. We've tried several, and there is no question in our minds that Mackenzie Jeffers is THE ONE. Her work with our menagerie has been of the absolute highest quality. She is honest, thoughtful, and compassionate. We can't imagine going to anyone else.
