Welcome to Eastwillow Pet Hospital
Eastwillow Pet Hospital, situated at 32860 Vine St, Willowick, OH, serves as a vital pet care resource for the community of Willowick and surrounding areas. Operating as a primary care veterinary clinic, the hospital is committed to providing comprehensive health services for companion animals, primarily focusing on dogs and cats. Their dedication to animal well-being is reflected in their range of services and responsiveness to urgent pet health needs, as highlighted by client testimonials.
Located in Willowick, Ohio, Eastwillow Pet Hospital aims to provide a welcoming and efficient environment for both pets and their owners. While specific details about the interior aesthetics or accreditations like Fear Free certification are not readily available from public information, the positive customer reviews regarding their ability to accommodate urgent visits suggest a practical and client-focused approach to their operations. The facility's accessibility is important for pet owners in the area, offering a local option for their veterinary needs. Their operational hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, remaining closed on Sundays. These hours, while not as extensive as some larger hospitals, indicate a consistent presence for routine and urgent care within their schedule.
As a "Pet Hospital" platform, Eastwillow Pet Hospital offers a variety of essential veterinary services to maintain and improve the health of pets. These services are typical of a primary care veterinary clinic, addressing common pet health concerns and preventive medicine. Key services include:
- Preventive & Wellness Care: This is the cornerstone of responsible pet ownership, including routine check-ups, vaccinations to protect against common diseases, and parasite prevention (such as heartworm, flea, and tick control). Regular wellness exams are crucial for early detection of health issues and maintaining a pet's overall health throughout their life.
- Pet Dental Care: Dental health is closely linked to overall pet health. Eastwillow Pet Hospital provides dental services, likely including cleanings, extractions, and assessments for oral diseases.
- Veterinary Surgery: The hospital is equipped to perform various surgical procedures. This typically includes routine surgeries like spaying and neutering, as well as soft tissue surgeries to address injuries, remove growths, or manage other internal conditions.
- Diagnostics: To accurately diagnose illnesses and conditions, the hospital offers diagnostic services. This would commonly include in-house laboratory testing (blood work, urinalysis, fecal exams) and imaging services such as X-rays (radiography). These tools are essential for understanding a pet's internal health and formulating appropriate treatment plans.
- Illness and Injury Treatment: For pets experiencing acute illnesses or injuries, the hospital provides medical attention, including examinations, medication, and supportive care.
While the detailed scope of each service, such as advanced imaging capabilities or specific surgical specialties, is not explicitly detailed in publicly available information, their function as a primary care facility indicates a focus on common and essential veterinary needs for dogs and cats.
One of the most notable features of Eastwillow Pet Hospital, as highlighted by customer reviews, is their responsiveness to urgent care needs. The testimonials explicitly mention instances where the hospital was able to accommodate emergency or same-day appointments for new patients when their regular vets could not. This ability to fit in urgent cases "within the hour" or "same-day" is a significant advantage for pet owners facing unexpected health concerns with their animals. This level of immediate attention can be crucial in ensuring timely diagnosis and treatment, potentially leading to faster recovery, as evidenced by a pup seeing "results from medication very quickly."
The positive feedback on the staff's willingness to fit in new patients for emergency visits, even when established vets have long wait times, demonstrates a commitment to compassionate and accessible care. This flexibility and dedication to accommodating unexpected situations are highly valued by pet owners, who often face stressful circumstances when their pets are ill or injured. The mentions of "Patti and Dr. Price" suggest a dedicated and caring team, fostering a sense of gratitude and trust among their clients. The fact that a long-term client switched to Eastwillow Pet Hospital due to their responsiveness further underscores this key feature.
While specific ongoing promotional offers are not detailed in the provided information, Eastwillow Pet Hospital, like most veterinary clinics, accepts various payment methods, including pet insurance. Pawlicy Advisor, an online resource, indicates that Eastwillow Pet Hospital accepts pet insurance for unexpected accidents and illnesses, advising pet owners to get insured while their pets are healthy to avoid issues with pre-existing conditions. Additionally, some pet insurance providers offer wellness plans that can help cover routine health expenses. For those without pet insurance or needing assistance with existing medical conditions, financing solutions such as CareCredit and Scratchpay might be accepted, allowing pet owners to space out payments for larger upfront costs. These options aim to make quality veterinary care more affordable and accessible for pet owners.
In summary, Eastwillow Pet Hospital serves the Willowick community as a reliable primary care veterinary clinic. Its strength lies in its comprehensive range of essential services for dogs and cats, encompassing preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, and dental services. Most notably, the hospital distinguishes itself through its apparent commitment to accommodating urgent and emergency cases, providing critical immediate attention when other clinics may have extended wait times. This responsiveness, coupled with a dedicated team, fosters positive client relationships and positions Eastwillow Pet Hospital as a trusted partner in pet health for local residents.

Apr 22, 2025 · Jess ThompsonThank you Patti and Dr. Price for fitting our pup in as a new patient/emergency visit same-day. Her regular vet (that we've gone to for the past 15 years) couldn't get her in for over a week which was very disappointing. We are very thankful for your care and are happy to be your newest client.
Jan 03, 2024 · Gem ZThe vet and staff were amazing with my guinea pigs!! Answered all my concerns and were genuine with responses without feeling like I was over reacting!!
Apr 26, 2023 · Ludwin PompaWe used to take our dog to another local vet that seems to be popular. They quoted me $280 for checkup, rabies shot and nail trim. Took him here for checkup, heartworm test, rabies shot and nail trim and it was $114! The doctor was awesome, the appointment was SO fast and everyone was super friendly. Highly recommended!
Mar 11, 2023 · Angela FusikLove Dr. Price . He’s a no nonsense vet. and did 2 surgeries on my pets and he’s prices are very reasonable. He save my one cat with an emergency surgery after calling every hospital in lake county he got us in that morning. He just did another surgery on my cat leg. Couldn’t be more grateful.
