Eastman Animal Hospital

I have had my son's dog to Dr Reid (I think that it's spelt) for the last 3 years and she is always kind and compassionate. My son's dog is fat but she has never shamed for it. I deeply appreciate her.

UPDATE follow up at new Vet today, see last note. Please read, when you read my complaint I want you to keep in mind that upon my second visit with Oreo rather than being charged for seeing her again upon their first misdiagnosis they should have suggested doing blood work so they could treat the animal without guessing they would have actually known what they were treating the animal for and this animal would not still be suffering today along with now her kitten double stuff is now showing the same symptoms keep in mind this is been going on for 3 months. I would have been fine with paying for blood work. Now here is why I'm leaving a one star review and here is my complaint, If you want to throw away your money and watch your animal continue to be sick would be the only way I would suggest going to this place. I wish I would have read the reviews before I brought my cat here, you can tell which reviews are by their staff to contradict the true negative reviews. I brought my cat there on 8/21/2024 congested and runny eyes that visit cost me $84.50 the medication did not work there was no improvement I brought the cat back on 10/15/2024 was charged another $120 left with medication the animal has the same symptoms it is now 10/30 of 2024 and the cat still has the same symptoms and now her kitten has the same symptoms. So I called and told them well they have more medicine there for another 80 some dollars. This animal has suffered now for several months and this place shows no compassion I also had a question about billing I did not feel that I was being charged fairly due to their incompetency of not testing the animals blood to find out what they are really treating so I am supposed to pay for their guess work and the cat is supposed to suffer I guess, and would you believe it took the manager a month since my last visit and asking about billing to call and explain to me that they feel that since I had a question with Bill and they feel I should find a new veterinarian. So the animal is still suffering 3 months later our family is out $225 and now we have to start over with the new veterinarian. I would suggest avoiding this place and find elsewhere to go so you don't have to find out the hard way like we did. But if you do however deal with this place and you find fault and how they treat you, you better bite your tongue or they will call you a month later and tell you to find a new veterinarian. This place is money hungry with no compassion to the animals. Read the reviews, read between the fake reviews, read the real reviews. I am so disgusted we may even start posting up with signs outside of their office. I am also considering going to the Midland Courthouse and filing on this money money hungry operation, the BBB will also be hearing about this place, unreal. SMH. UPDATE.. went to a great new vet today 11/7/2024. So Orion double stuff went to a new vet today they got weighed in and actually got their temperatures taken that Eastman did not do they also had their ears checked that Eastman did not do they also were made to walk around and the dark physically and also visually inspected the animals very thorough end result both of my cats have feline herpes, due to Eastman Animal Clinic their failure to diagnose these animals proper now my other five cats also have this that are all older senior cats that I have had for 10 years now and we're perfectly healthy are all beginning to show signs of this feline herpes there is no cure for this period so thanks Eastman Animal Clinic you totally dropped the ball on this one and you have caused five other cats to now be sick that have not been sick in years they have not been outside they've been indoor cats for 10 years and they are now sick thanks to you incompetent unprofessional money hungry house full of flunky's. That's all I've got to say about this place.

Very knowledgeable and treated my pet with the utmost kindness. Would recommend if you love your animal family member.

It's a great place and the people there are really nice me and my wife take are pets there all the time price is reasonable

Although they are very busy which can be frustrating at times Dr. Rheid has been wonderful to my babies. Doc knows I get super worked up over my dogs if anything is wrong. Well for good reason because I have lost some unexpectedly, but she always calms me down. She goes the extra mile to make sure my little Boston has no reactions to medicine and that he gets top notch care. She has been wonderful and I wish there were more vets like her!
