We took our sweet baby recently because he was sick (not eating nor drinking for 3-4 days). He was seeing and they did some labs and gave us 0 answers. The vet told us he probably had been poisoned or had some sort of cancer. Just for the labs itself was $350 and she suggested additional X-rays for an additional $550. This was just to possibly get a diagnosed. I was disappointed that if the vet thought he was poisoned didn’t offer anything to maybe help him in any way. Based on our visit we felt their priority was getting money and not seeking ways to help him have a chance of living. We felt our hands tied with no clue even with labs what was wrong with him. Our sweet baby now rests in heaven. We felt so hopeless to not know what happened to him nor how to help him. I would not recommend this place. Staff was nice but we felt they had no empathy. We miss our sweet angel 😢

Had a great experience at Eastlake Veterinary Services and plan to make this place our main vet. We just moved here from Texas and was recommended this location from Thrive. Our dog was starting to have allergies so bad that she was scratching herself to bleeding. We came in for an exam and to get more Apoquel (previous medicine which worked). Everyone was very friendly and kind to our dog. Our dog gets anxious around other dogs (due to being attacked by one as a puppy) and we appreciate how everyone there at Eastlake were understanding and worked with us to be in and out without any issues. Dr. Emily Miller and the other staff were very knowledgable and addressed any questions or concerns we had with great details. They provided us a good solution to our dog's problems and its already starting to look better for our dog's allergies. Thanks again Eastlake Vet Services! We will definitely be back when the time arises.

We've been with Eastlake for numerous years and absolutely love them! 💕 The front desk staff is always super friendly and go above and beyond to accommodate...especially Lynn...she's amazing! And our groomer Sara...cannot say enough about her! She's been grooming our Shitzu/Maltese for many years and does a beautiful job every time! Highly recommend this clinic!

Lynn and the staff of Eastlake Veterinary are always kind and courteous. There was a dog right before they saw mine that had diarrhea 3 times. They all just got right to cleaning it up with not one single complaint. (Even after the client left,.) That is the kind of office they are. They are just good kind loving people that really want to take care of my furry babies. I am so grateful that I found these precious people!

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend I recently took my 9-year-old pit bull, Luna, to East Lake for a wellness appointment and was deeply disappointed by the experience. Luna is an incredibly sweet and social dog who has never shown aggression in her life. In the waiting area, she happily received pets from other clients and staff, but once we were in the exam room, the energy changed drastically. The vet informed me they were short-staffed and seemed rushed. Luna doesn’t like her ears played with (I mentioned this to the vet) but has never growled or snapped—she simply pulls away. Instead of taking the time to make her comfortable, the vet skipped most of the exam, immediately moved to administering shots, and when Luna pulled away, insisted on getting additional help and a muzzle. The way they restrained her—pinning her against the counter—felt excessive and distressing. To make matters worse, I was not given the option to approve or decline certain vaccinations, yet they were administered and charged for. I was also billed for the muzzle, despite Luna having no history of aggression or signs of aggression during her visit. The total cost of the visit was $259. Afterward, I reviewed her past veterinary records to compare cost, which contain multiple notes on how sweet she is, with no reports of aggression. This experience left me shaken. I regret not leaving at the first sign of concern, but I want to share this so other pet owners can make an informed decision. No pet should be treated like this, especially a senior dog with a long history of being gentle. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone who wants their pet to be handled with patience and care.
