*edited to add an updated photo of the kitten we found, who is now thriving and doing very well thanks to the initial help of this clinic* I have tons of great things to say about this clinic but here is part of our story with two of our three animals that have seen them. My first cat, a 3yr 11mo old Siamese experienced a medical emergency last Friday. He had been having some odd symptoms here and there but overall had been acting himself up until then. Without warning he started vomiting profusely, his head was trembling, he was crying out, constantly moving up and down because he could not get comfortable, and had become lethargic. He also had not eaten his breakfast which was not like him. I took him in to East TN, who had seen him unexpectedly before in 2021, and they took great care of my baby then too. Unfortunately, he was sicker than we ever could have imagined. His bladder was severely swollen due to blockage and he passed away the next day (at night) leaving us absolutely devastated. Dr. Bixler stayed until we were able to get there about 9-9:30pm. We cried together, she hugged me, we talked, she helped load me and him into the car while I held his little body…. and we left. I have reasonably not been doing well. I took off work for my mental health, as I had been crying every single day since losing my baby boy. Little did I know I would be making another trip to see Dr. Bixler not even a week later for a kitten sent to me by my sweet boy. I was driving down the road and witnessed a poor kitten get hit by a car at least twice right in front of me. Miraculously, he survived with no major injuries. She and her team worked to save him as he went in and out of consciousness. I realize this is a lengthy review that may not be read all the way through, but they have been simply amazing to my now lost sweet baby boy, this new found kitten, and my aforementioned third animal - my American Staffordshire Terrier.

Mar 31, 2025 · Brit BratThis vet office is outstanding! Every veterinarian we have worked with has been very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. They did a fantastic job cleaning my little dog’s teeth. My wife really loves their motto as well. The young lady at the front was so helpful because she emailed my wife information on products that can help keep our dogs’ teeth clean. So glad we found this veterinarian office.
Jan 26, 2025 · Steve GoodgerI can’t say enough good things about this place! They are the most loving and caring group that genuinely care about your pets. My sweet pup was very sick the other day and they took up their lunch break to make sure she was taken care of, and they did in fact save her life that day. They never rush or dismiss anything, they make sure you get the help you need each and every time. I am forever grateful for this place and the compassion and love for animals each of the employees have.
Jun 15, 2024 · Braelyn GrantI’m new in town, so I asked around and read reviews for a vet. Impressed by the reviews of East Tennessee, decided to give them a try. I will be staying! Super friendly staff, and the Dr was friendly too! They didn’t try to sell me unnecessary services and thoroughly explained what they were doing during the exam. My dog got a little nervous during the exam, but the tech was patient and caring. The prices were typical, not outrageous, but not low either. Thanks guys! My fur kids are sleeping well knowing that we are in great hands with East Tennessee Veterinary Services-Gray.
Apr 03, 2024 · Carrie SykesThe staff is amazing and very loving with our fur baby. It was very affordable! Updating to include that they are providing wonderful continued care. Highly recommend!
