Dr. Martens is truly the best veterinarian I have ever met. She listens to your concerns and really cares about your loved ones. All the doctors who work with her are amazing as well and in an emergency situation they are always there for you and your fur babies.

If you love your pets then definitely bring them here!! Loving, caring people and environment. I have nothing but gratitude and respect for all of the individuals that work here! Very thorough and informative. Always greeted with kindness and my kitty is super loved by all who know him there 💕🙌🏼 They make sure that our boy is in top shape. I just can’t say enough good about these folks! Thank you Dr Clemmens! This is an apparent continuation to my previous review because it did not post. This animal hospital/clinic is by far one of the best in the entire metro area! All of the docs are so good and kind as well as the staff. Thanks again for a phenomenal visit. Dr Schroeder you’re pretty awesome too!

We had our first visit for our Great Dane with Dr Martens this week. We have been nervous about finding a new vet since our longtime vet retired and the person who took over was very abrasive and seemed to have no emotion. The front office staff were the nicest people. Very welcoming and recognized our Dane is a nervous girl in new situations. Dr Martens was very sweet and thorough, great with our girl. She didn't immediately go to needing xrays for her limping before trying other care first. So far we are very impressed and hope this will be our new permanent place for our pets.

My first visit here wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t great. While the technicians I encountered were kind and professional, my experiences with the veterinarians have been disappointing. During our last visit, the vet continued to rip my cat out of her carrier, despite my suggestion—twice—that we remove the top for a gentler approach. Which is what the tech did prior to her entering the room, and what has been done every other time. As someone with 20 years of healthcare experience, I found it concerning when the vet seemed frustrated —made a comment about having to look through her EXTENSIVE history — about reviewing my cat’s medical history after I inquired about whether a three-year vaccine was even due, after they kept bringing it up. Organizationally, such information should be readily accessible. Additionally, after following their request to consult a dental specialist, I explained the specialist told me that while her teeth are bad they aren’t horrible so she didn’t see an immediate need. Considering my cat’s very serious condition involves her mouth I decided to hold off on dental cleaning as the risks of immediate dental work outweighed the benefits for my cat’s condition. The response I received was “That’s not what the report says.” Thankful that others have had good experiences but I personally will not be back.
