East Main Animal Hospital

I took my cat named Dave to E Main animal hospital today. The people were the best! They did a workup on Dave that was very impressive! Now to the tough part. The news they had for me was not good. My best friend was very near the end of his life. They could not have done a better job of helping me and Dave through a tough time. Dave and I will go home for a day or three and when his quality of life is below the threshold, I will call them and take Dave to them. They are so kind in this tough time. I recommend them very much.

Very good with my dog. Despite her being sick on some of our visits she gets really excited to see the staff. They treat her well

I've used this vet for years without price concerns but now the staff/management seems to have changed. I came to a first appt for my current kitty cats without their records. I was told that was okay and that I could bring them back if I realized they needed more vaccines. What they failed to mention was that even if I faxed them the records a few days later, I would still have to pay for another checkup for each of them if they came back. That seemed unreasonable to me as nothing had changed in their health in those few days and I asked why. The answer? The manager replied that she "had to pay her staff." Hmmm! So I'm not saying don't bring your pets here but I am urging you to bring all records and ask for prices before you do.

We’ve unfortunately been experiencing very baseline quality of care. Much room for improvement when it comes to bedside manner and communication. Also waited 30 minutes after my appointment was scheduled and wasn’t checked on or let know there was a longer wait time in case other arrangements needed to be made.

They took such good care of my Great Dane puppy. I was extremely impressed with their dedication and professionalism, yet still made me feel like a part of the family. Will definitely continue taking my pets here.
